It sounds like a tan with a grey tint might be just the ticket.

I posted a thread in the home forum earlier today about a mystery problem we're having with our water heater.

Some guy posted, "Call the plumber who installed it and bla bla bla."

I responded, "Do you want me to yell downstairs and get hubby?"

My resident plumber. Darn shame he isn't a real plumber.

I wouldn't be posting a thread on CD if I planned to call a plumber without letting hubby try to break it more first!

That's kind of where I'm leaning....need to be careful the grey isn't too grey or it won't go with the carpet....color is a tricky tricky thing....

I really really need to go read. I need to finish The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest..once and for all. I'm actually tired of it but not done. I need to finish it and be over it.

Do any of your kids have an eye for color? I have the same problem as you when picking paint. I narrow it down to about 10 colors and then I'll put them against everything I'm matching and let the kids start eliminating the colors that look bad. It works great. I don't know if younger eyes can see the tones in a color better than my old eyes or if they are just more naturally gifted compared to me. All I know is they are really good at picking out the right shades to match other colors for me.

If you're tired of it, why torture yourself?

Not every book was meant to be finished. Some weren't meant to be read at all.

I love to read, but I won't read something that doesn't hold my interest, except when forced to for school or work. .

My eye for color isn't bad...I'm just over analytical to boot...I wish I had a decorator who could put it all together for me....I have actually eliminated quite a few colors....how to choose from what's left is the problem....

Because I need resolution. I need to know what happens. I've read 2 1/2 of the 3 books. Gotta finish.

You better go do that and get it over with then! I'm going to bed. I'm really tired. Have a good night!

Speaking of paint- I was at Home Depot today to pick up paint for my daughter's room..it went everywhere! I guess it was the guy's first time doing the mixing thing! I felt very bad for him!
