LOL at Yahtzee on the iPad laying in bed coop.....
It is indeed a lovely day weather-wise here....going to do a quick clean up around here then enjoy the day with DD. Our friend will be here later on and he and DH will go golfing and then we'll throw some steaks on the grill and if the weather is still nice, sit outside on the deck this evening. Will also be checking in on a couple of college football games...
Not sure if I'll get a chance to get on much today but have a fabulous day all.....
BTW - let me second the "great story" Fin! (also makes me want to pull out the Midnight Oil cds I haven't thought about in years....)
Thanks dudes. But really, just be who you are and don't let anybody stray you from your course. Scoff at the naysayers, say I.
Have a fabulous day, all. Off out to do stuff. Hope the inlaws don't drive you too crazy kibs. I feel your pain.
thanks. DH, DS5, and FIL just left for the day. so its just me, DS8 and MIL here. I'll try to keep a positive attitude. Getting out of the house should help. Have a good day, everyone!
Do you ladies no anything about prostate cancer? It's what my husband's dad died of, so I'm wondering if it's genetic. I've looked online but get different answers. Now, his dad died in the '80s in a third world country, so obviously the prognosis would probably be better for my husband. I'm just wondering, though.

Yes, the incidence is higher if a brother or father had it. I would suggest he talk to his doctor about doing a PSA and an exam to get a baseline, and put his mind at ease. Both are very easy, minimally invasive procedures. It is very, very rarely found in men under 40.
Yes, it would be something to keep a eye on. One of my brothers was diagnosed with it a few years back. He had the seeds implanted, and is doing very well. He nagged my 3 other brothers until they were tested, and then he moved onto the in-laws.
