He got home late but we are worried if a hot spot flares up again and how fast it will spread.

... and they're gone. Actually, the last day or so wasn't all that bad. Probably because MIL mentioned why they stayed so long (cheaper tickets). It's amazing what a little communication can do. I wish one of them would have called weeks ago and said "we know it is a little long during school, but it saves us $500 if we leave on Wed instead of Tues. Is that ok?" Of course I would have said it was ok. And I wouldn't have been wondering "what were they thinking?" for the past 2 months.
