Eh...rich people for generations have sent their kids off to boarding schools thousands of miles away from the time they are very young...how is this any different? Celebrities and the rich live in a completely different realm than the rest of us and don't play by the same rules...they don't even apply.
Not when they are toddlers.

Same to everyone asking for proof, links, etc. showing how many minutes per day the parents spend with the child. Do you all live in Peyton Place ? Super bored? Extremely insecure about yourselves? There has to be something.
So it's ok for you to judge the people posting here, but not for people to have an opinion on a parenting choice where that parent chose to give interviews and seek publicity about that choice? If someone makes their life public, they are inviting attention and commentary.
I tend to think that every weekend seems a bit much, otherwise not only do I have no problem with this, I highly support it. I've always said it, your marriage is supposed to come first before your children. It certainly beats the many people I've seen over the years where EVERYTHING revolves around the children and the marriage is almost an afterthought. So many times, in that situation, divorces and/or affairs happen because one's adult/intimate needs aren't being sufficiently met.
Why all the fuss about a grandchild spending what essentially amounts to one Saturday a week with grandparents? They drop the GC off Friday evening and pick up Sunday Morning. What's the difference between spending 15-20 awake hours spread throughout the week with grandparents and this?

I could have sworn I read Friday night -Sunday evening.

I reread. They pick up Sunday morning and they sleep in Saturday morning.
Anyway, I think it's kind of nice for the couple to have one day together and at the same time, for the daughter to have special time with the grandparents.
