I think I know what you're talking about, but I was referring to individual projects like the ones I got photos of in this article.

Major stations, like Spring Garden on the BSL, have no new turnstiles at all.

Wait a minute. Is this really "the largest renovation" Septa has ever done? Larger than replacing the entire elevated section of the MFL in W. Phila(and Millburne) complete with tearing down the old elevated track/stations constructing new track, new power, and 6 new stations?! All the while keeping service going during the majority of the construction period?

I'm not counting on being alive when it's done. It's going to take years to complete. Don't believe that 2020 date.
