Also, while we're on the topic of criminal justice. Before we hear the tired chorus about criminals "going free" and "no one gets charged in Larry Krasner's Philadelphia."

2 teens being charged as adults after 16-year-old bystander shot in head in SEPTA shooting

The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office has approved charges Friday against teenagers involved in a SEPTA shooting that left a 16-year-old bystander critically wounded.

...

The District Attorney’s Office said it expects to charge Humphrey with aggravated assault, conspiracy, illegal gun possession, and related crimes. The 16-year-old is expected to be charged with aggravated assault, conspiracy, and related crimes.

I heard the kid who was shot was a good kid who was in the wrong place - a shame that the freaking Broad street MFL is the "wrong place.". These degenerates just shot a gun off in the subway for fun.

And I don't love it. I love it when someone who is devoid of humanity enough to do something like this is caught rather than walks free to continue doing it. Apparently, this scum has several priors as a 16 year old.

Sad. The kids in this town.

"It's the culture, stupid."

I remember when parents, including my own, would speak about how some kid or other "wasn't raised right." Somewhere between the 1960s and now, the notion of "being raised right" got jettisoned as just so much old, obsolete, Black-bourgeois, white-aping bull****.

We've paid a price for that, even those of us who still raise their kids right, like the parents of that victim (most liikely).

There's plenty to dislike about Krasner's methods, but the politicization of his authority in Harrisburg is nothing more than a dog-and-pony show for the Fox News crowd.
Gross ... you're obviously a Krasner supporter.

That was a very unkind way to express yourself, Hermit. You know better than to speak to others like that.

Can't tell if joking. But if not, you must have missed the part where I mentioned, "there's plenty to dislike about Krasner's methods."

It's possible to both not agree with someone, but also disagree with penalizing that someone with performance politics and abuse of Legislative power.

Wish I could, honestly. Family obligations and all that business.

Krasner politicized his authority and office day 1.
