Don't forget that was our "cool" part of the day, after a high of 101 (which isn't super horrible). It was just grotesquely humid at night, its making me cranky.

I was outside from about 3:30 to about 7 doing pool maintenance, much of it working in the shed my pump is located in. It was fine! it's Phoenix. It's hot.

Is this thread exhausted yet? And anyone else still think we need a sticky "weather" thread?

Cant wait for the "its never as humid here as it is in the East" crowd to chime in.

Still won't ever see dew points in the upper 70's in Phoenix. It's still a (reasonably) dry heat.

Anything dew point above 60 is uncomfortable. We've seen mid-70 degree dew points.

Hey, ElleTea. In my totally biased opinion, this thread has been "toast" almost from the git-go, so, yeah... stick a fork in it, and let the next weather thread start up!

I'm not as sold on a weather "sticky", but you could put together a POLL thread and see what the rest of the riff raff thinks.

My opinion is that unless the "official" weather thread is a sticky, it won't be visible enough for folks to actually dump all of their weather posts there.

In the afternoon its a little more tolerable with lessened humidity. Go work out there at night when the humidity and dew point are way up.
