And no, I would never go under the knife so I could be pretty/prettier...I shouldn't have to change my actual, natural appearence so she would like me. She should like the real me after all!
I am that same way..........no plastic surgery for me (with the possible exception of repairing damage due to disease or injury).

i beg to differ. lots and lots of this thinking esp among the poor. for people that are porous like a sponge yes everything flows right thru them and they absorb their surroundings. not everybody is like this. some of us rise above our surroundings.
this requires effort. i do not subscribe to the sponge theory. i do not think that scooching up to the winners will make you one. eddie murphys trading places is not a documentary. the successful get that way by hard work skills prudence good attitude and living below their means. losers attempt to do it by buying lotto tickets and watching eddie murphy movies.

Interesting,I've observed where I live now is certainly infertile ground and thus no one grows here. Luckily my formative years were spent in a somewhat more fertile place.

I don't know if it is true of everyone, but I have been in AZ for 2 months today and have not one incidence or high or low blood sugar, off meds, 15 lb weight loss (only 15 more to go...) can't believe the difference! (moved here from MI) Will be interested to find out what "winter" brings, was always the worst time of year for me.
