Why is it all American to give trillions to rich people but when the Democrats propose throwing a few cents to the blind, poor, children, it's "pork" or "socialism"?
Just wondering.

Well first of all, Americans didn't give a dime to any rich person, the government gave that money without my vote. Did they ask you if it was ok to give it away? Because they sure the H+E+double hockey sticks didn't ask me if it was ok!

It the rich helping the rich. Please let me add, I wasn't to big on seeing AIG get all of this money. I say let them go under. But now that they have all of our money, now we have to live with it.

What we should have done was let them go into Chapter 7 and restructure and drop the bad debit like a hot potato, then give them the cash. But Noooooo. Now we are stuck with a Lemon that both you and I own (as tax payers) But do you think you will ever see a dime out of that?

Here's what I think...
In some of those Middle Eastern Countries, some of those people that own all of that oil get a share of the money we give them for that black gold.

I say, if we invest our hard earn tax dollars in AIG and they become profitable again, I think the US government, should cut all of the tax payers a big fat bonus check for keeping them from going under.

Remember McCain's point of view of the majority of us. He has no idea what it is like to be middle or working class. I can tell you without hesitation how many houses I own. One but it has a mortgage. Money buys elections. We are usually given a "choice" between two connected and wealthy individuals. The entire system is corrupt. Kyle and McCain are among the worst when it comes to being out of touch with the majority of Americans. The financiers skim vast amounts from the system and when there is a danger of them taking losses the billionaires demand, no extort by declaring the world will fall apart, trillions of dollars from the workers. Only in America can a billionaire be bailed out by a guy making $30,000 a year.

Dude...was it not your Democrats who wrote the legislation that bailed out the corporations and had loopholes for bonuses?

Dude, let us not be blinded by party loyalties. We are all being screwed by both parties. Geitner is a Wall Street boy as was Paulson. Obama needs to get a clue or his presidency is over before it got started.

Well, I for one am will to give the current administration the time it needs to clean up this &%!#(%& mess.

This whole problem really didn't start with the banks, it started with the high BS prices on oil. For the last god know how many months our gas, going to and from work, cost me an arm and a leg, and I'm upper middle class. I got so "fed" up (ouch) so to speak, I went out and bought me a ten speed and used that to get to work.

But, the people that could hardly afford to commute and hold their mortgage together had to make a choice. Put gas in the tank to get to work, or not go to work and use that money for the mortgage? Hum, lets see, which one do I choose?

Again, it Texas oil billionaires making sure their pockets were lined. Now look how things are.

Lets continue to go down this oil path in the future because, I'm pretty sure, now that UAE has their indoor ski resort, the next thing they need is an indoor 10 sheet ice rink.

Actually, the UAE is in deep trouble since the oil market bubble burst last June.

Sorry, I'm not buying it! There is no such thing as an oil market bubble. It not like the .com deal in 1998...ask google, doesn't look like they are hurting.

But oil bubble? I see it as a cooling down. This happens every time there is an increase. I remember back in the late 70's when gas was $2.25

Long gas lines, and high inflation and look what happened then. Did people stop buy gas? No! Did they switch to a more greener economy? No! Instead, the car companies all got together and said..."How can we build it bigger and better"? Yeah yes....the SUV.

Now don't get me wrong, I own one. But, I would be more then happy to buy electric. Not a Hybrid...100% electric. If Tesla wasn't so expensive, I would buy one of those. But I don't have deep pocket, i'm paying for my mortgage.

You initiated this with your partisan critique of McCain's supposed elitism. I don't care how many houses he owns, as long as he bought them legally, then it is okay with me.
