Well, PHX trumps Chicago in winter weather, mountainous scenery, and, um.... ummmmm....

Troll another site? I think he's not the troll here.

Screw Chicago! As anyone in Wisconsin will tell you, people from Chicago are the most obnoxious, overbearing a-holes in the entire country. Why anyone would want to visit much less live in that dung heap of humanity is beyond me.

LOL, listen to you. You think Steve-o is enough back-up for you to troll on this forum? I don't think so. Glad you love Chicago and a native MW...if Phoenix is so awful, why are you still here? And trust me, I've been to Chicago plenty of times. Probably more than you have even IF you are from Indiana. Plus, I've asked you if you were from Michigan before and you said you WERE. Now you are from Indiana. I'll post the link to the thread where you said you were from Michigan...

Still waiting for those dramatically different things to do in Chicago! So far you've pointed out the lake and some buildings, LOL! And MLS (soccer)? I like soccer but it isn't particularly huge in the U.S. The Chicago Fire play in Toyota Park, which seats 20,000 for a sporting event, about the same for an ASU baseball or girl's softball game. Now, take me to a match at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City that seats over 110,000 and that is an INTERNATIONAL event! Hey but when the U.S. play Mexico at UofPhoenix stadium, nearly 70,000 people attended! Hmmm, testing the water for an expansion team?

Yea, you appear to be the straight-on, Arizona-proud, desert-dust version of dementor. Aren't you? I'm only on you because of your simpleton, harrassing comments to other posters who dare defend Chicago. Kind of reminds everyone of dementor, right?

Lighten up on the criticism and blanket statements and I'll lighten up on you. Can you manage that?

And I'm not really "name-calling"-- that's kind of weak. You just remind me of dementor. He's my favorite all-time poster on this forum.

btw, easy with the little emotibots. You're going to strain yourself.

This sounds like high school, so I won't comment, LOL! Love my emoticons... Cool, yeah I'm the Chicago dementor. Every time one of you comes to troll, I'll suck the life out of the Phoenix bashing. Cool, I can live with you calling me that.

I was just thinking...to the OP, check out Alta Lofts downtown, Historic Orpheum Lofts, or Roosevelt Square. In midtown, check out the area around Encanto Blvd where the Heard Museum and Park Central are located. Lots of cool apartments, lofts, and condos in the area as well as plenty of historic neighborhoods.

In Uptown, look into the Pavillions, Yaple Historic District, Melrose Historic/Gay District, and east on Camelback towards the Biltmore, Arcadia, Brentwood Historic neighborhood, and North Central. These are all green belt areas with new, historic, and mid-century construction. If you are more interested in Tempe or Scottsdale let us know. Scottsdale is large so if you'd like to stick to downtown Scottsdale or Old Town I would list that as a consideration so people can help you out.

What "most states" are you talking about? Not any of the U.S. states. Most states are bigger than Lake Michigan.

I really hate to say this, but is your junk that tiny that you have to come on to the Phoenix boards to argue your point about why you think Chicago is so much better than Phoenix so you can feel like you're compensating for something? Sheeeeesh.
