oh believe me, i've tried, but the person who started the group doesn't have a car and it's the only place with adequate seating she can easily get to. she actually brings in coffee from somewhere else, too, but i just don't think that's right, so i drink tea.

haha! i actually meant people who drink tea, italian sodas, milkshakes (come on that's not coffee), etc.

and yeah, i am not really a coffee obsessive but i can tell from what i've heard and from what i've tasted that they are serious about their coffee at biddle's escape.

Coffee? I thought it was "special massage" that cops got free?

How busy has this place been? I've only been to Tazza D'oro once because it's always packed beyond the point of there being seating. Probably because I only go to Highland Park on nice days, usually on the weekend.

there seem to always be a decent number of people there when i've been there or gone by, but it's never been tazza d'oro packed. once i had to sit at the counter because there were no free tables inside and it was raining. but i've always been able to sit down.

Everybody has a right to have their own opinions and they are all welcome here, provided they don't violate the tos. There is nothing in the tos about being "negative". If I come across another thread hijacked into a completely off topic discussion about opinions and who is allowed to have them, all involved will get infractions.

Yac - that was a discussion on semantics between a lawyer and a marketer. We didn't even get to calling each other names like we see on other threads (e.g. that NJ one is pretty vile). I thought it was quite civilized, in a relative sense. Apologies to anyone who felt our side conversation detracted from the main point at hand.

I agree it wasn't as bad as it could have been, but what was going on was completely irrelevant to the topic of this thread.
