this place looks really cool, has anyone been yet?

they've been talking about opening "within 2 weeks" for well over a month now but now they're actually open! the area is really lovely (whitney park area), but not exactly a business district. i hope they do well.

I noticed that place last weekend as I was wondering around looking for an apartment. Looks really neat.

Yeah, it's a really unique pleasant place. A friend of mine asked to meet her there yesterday. Nice deck with pretty view of those streets in Regent's Square - prolly be a great place to be in summer.

It'll be interesting to see how BE works out. The "other" shop on Braddock in the commercial strip has awful coffee, but it's more convenient to more people (and a lot of people don't really care about coffee). With the patio and late hours (I think 9pm), the place could eventually have a Tazza d'Oro feel to it, which would be great.

I regularly make deliveries in that immediate area and have always been curious as to when it was opening. Thanks for the update! I just may spend some of my tip money on a bodacious brew the next time I find myself in this part of Wilkinsburg.

I think a coffee shop is what makes a neighorhood. Highland Park really had nothing when Tazzo d'Oro opened. Now look at it. Years ago when I lived in Aspinwall the coffee shop didn't have the most reliable hours now it is much better. Sort of gives people something to do without leaving the neighborhood.

Yeah Beans and Cream is kind of cool. Don't know about Wilkinsburg though. That will be a tough go in that area.
