What did he predict for the US? Where are we at now? Are we sure all of the reported deaths are from Coronavirus?

Well what do you think it means?

You made the statement. I asked you the question to understand what you meant.

Every city is in this situation. If you are implying that this situation allows for Pittsburgh (or any city) to change its economic trajectory, I was just curious as what that might be.

I think we could end up the Pittsburgh of 1982, 2000 or 2019. Nobody knows. Worst case it is like the steel collapse here again and high unemployment, or everything snaps back quickly.

I think we will end up between both extremes.

Pittsburgh doesn't have a steel industry to collapse. What it has now isn't a "unique" industry that Pittsburgh and only some other cities have.

Wasn't it 100,000 for the US? We're currently at 20,000 and adding about 1,000 a day. So I don't think we should criticize that prediction.

100,000-200,000. Pretty big gap in that estimate.

Are we sure they’re all from the virus?

Personally, I hope all the predictions are wrong.
