Ha, you are so true. The Lebo of even 20 years ago was so different. Today it's just too much to handle. And the school board - ugh. So political. Actually USC today is the way Lebo used to be.

I wonder how those brainwashed by TV news are dealing with the fact they've been lied to by the entire MSM about Fetterman since May. They're so crazy, they'll probably not even think about the implications for the rest of their memorized "beliefs".

Let’s not forget the doctor that said he’s fit for the job. What a clown he is.

Fetterman certainly scared to release his medical records. Makes one wonder what he might’ve been doing to cause the stroke, especially him being so pro drugs/narcotics.

That is what my wife was saying. I am a firm believer that a disability should not hold anyone back but if he can't even comprehend simple questions then he needed to step a side months ago. As i said previously i met the man and really like him as a person. I hope he recovers fully from his stroke but he is not applying for a job at walmart cleaning floors.

how can you possibly sit in the Congress with such a mental aptitude, and be effective? there is a LOT to read, consider, discuss with people, etc. unless he just gets in there and is one of those do - nothings that just put out a flyer once every few months.

i totally forgot about Lamb and it IS too bad he was thrown aside from the powerful 'gimme gimme' lobby that Fetters seems to appeal to.
i am not in any political party, but would certainly give someone like Lamb consideration - i woulda supported Bloomberg in the last prez election. so i can understand the frustration some Dems might be feelign about this.

Fetterman is a terrible candidate (and again - i am not being cruel and humiliating the man himself or his character), and a loss in the election will be HUGE for this country considering the stakes - abortion rights for one.

I dont think Oz is a horrible candidate, and certainly not even the 'lesser of two evils...'. i am not comfortable with his support of Donald, though. He goes: "i'll support any candidate from the party" (my paraphrasing) when he was asked about that at the debate.

but Mastroino (sp)? Yikes, people. Even Hitler started out not with a coup but by winning seats through the democratic process.

Even Mastriano has some good qualities. His latest tv ad is quite eye opening and persuasive for anyone with children.

Anyway, Fetterman's comment "I showed up" as proof of his competency was pretty outrageous.

Fetterman’s fracking response was also priceless. So much hilarity and so entertaining as expected.

I agree - that should not bode well for a lot of interests. the fact that some (like that genius ABC News interviewed today right in front of the City-C Bldg.) might not even think about, and STILL vote for Fetterman tells me that despite what some people say, they secretly will vote for their 'ideal' candidate, but not for their own actual 'ideals'. if they even have any.

i didnt expect much from Oz on that, but Fetterman should be skewered for his total avoidance of that question.

i think fracking, but CONTROLLED, with permits and compliance, should be a top priority in this commonwealth.

those commercials dont mean much, though! NONE actually give a reason why you should vote for the candidate in question. they either 1) tell you whats wrong with their opponent (w/ lies, exaggerations, or not full context), or 2) hype up their character ("I fought in Desert Storm", or "I served in the military, now coach my son's little league team").

look, i help keep the girl scouts rocking with my consumption of those cookies. doesnt make me a great american, exactly!

Now Ms Fetterman is doing her best impression of Edith Wilson.. shes even been described as the 'de facto candidate' by left-wing media (https://www.rollingstone.com/politic...ar-1234611746/) and your President Brandon stated that Gisele "will be a great lady in the Senate" (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bid...at-lady-senate).

Brazil, meanwhile, is maintaining neutrality between Russia and Ukraine.
"Brazil will not take sides over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Foreign Minister Carlos Franca said on Tuesday, adding its stance was one of “impartiality”, not “indifference”, and that it sought peace.
...
Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, who visited Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow shortly before the invasion, angered Western allies by saying he was “in solidarity with Russia” without elaborating." (https://www.euronews.com/2022/03/09/...-crisis-brazil)

Youre literally obsessed with Oz's Turkish citizenship swaying his views on Ukraine... yet Fetterman is in an identical boat.

Do you have the logical consistency and personal integrity to publicly condemn Fetterman for the same thing that you're criticizing Oz for, or are you so mentally ill that you can't see the similarity??

Bolsarnaro certainly has authoritarian leanings, but seems as if he is actually in danger of being voted out of office; on the other hand, do you think Erdogan actually has a chance of being voted out of office next year? This is to say that the degree of authoritarianism within each country appears to differ dramatically. Just editing to add another distinguishing factor is that Dr. Oz is associated with our own would-be authoritarian, while the Fettermans are decidedly not so associated. Again, so this is another reason why Gisele's connection to Brazil is not the same as Dr. Oz's relationship with a country with an authoritarian regime.

Seems to me that one shows a lack of integrity by making such a silly argument. That said, such a thing doesn't surprise for one who has made a threat against the governor, who routinely misrepresents positions I have taken here, and who can't seem to distinguish between liberals, moderates and/or anyone other than an extremist who trucks no dissent. You view yourself as a von Stauffenberg, but you are, in reality, just among the growing hoards of willing executioners for America's democracy.
It seems that you need to have blinders on to refuse to see the similarity between Fetterman's Brazilian connection and Oz's Turkish connection. I haven't said anything about Fetterman/Brazil previously - but you have banged the drum constantly about Oz/Turkey.

The Fetterman's aren't associated with authoritarianism? You are aware that he was the Lt Gov (ie - the #2 in the executive branch) during Governor Wolf's legalized dictatorship?

Here's a nice article from the Washington Post (you know, that infamous source of never-ending right-wing propaganda ) detailing Silver Spoon Fetterman's anti-democratic tendencies, enabled by daddy's money.

Quote:
Fetterman largely quit going to council meetings altogether. He began effectively using his nonprofit, Braddock Redux — bankrolled in part by his family — as his own shadow government to try to implement his vision of a revitalized Rust Belt community of artists and other urban homesteaders. Over Fetterman’s 13-year tenure as mayor, the private group helped launch a “Free Store” that gives away donated goods, affordable housing for artists and a youth-oriented community center. Many residents of the majority Black town of 1,700 embraced Fetterman; he was reelected three times. And his nonprofit work helped foster the folk-hero narrative that later propelled him to lieutenant governor and now, Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate.

But some in Braddock viewed the White mayor working through a nonprofit with an all-White board as circumventing public debate and input from the town’s democratically elected representatives. Instead of trying to reform what he saw as a broken government, Fetterman worked around it.
