WOW. I can't believe that people are actually DEFENDING a pedophile!!! Birds of a feather, however, DO flock together, they say.

They should have finished the job, & saved us some tax dollars. Any low-life scum who prays on innocent children deserve NO pity, neither do their defenders, IMHO. The reason scum like these are still committing these horrible crimes are BECAUSE OF people who defend them!! If they KNEW they would lose their lives, do you think there would be NEARLY as many crimes committed??? The criminals KNOW they can get away with it, that's why there is so much crime!!! It's only basic common sense.

I find it odd that in the prison, convicts look down on pedophiles and rapists, yet often engage in gang rapes themselves.

Ironic

Anyway; the pedophiles always get it in prison. It's how the prisoners run their little place that they believe they have some type of control over the environment and the child rapist is at the bottom even with the boys who will rape fellow prisoners for sexual satisfaction. But they won't touch what they consider the scum of the earth. I guess in that sense the lowers are protected in a way maybe. And now many prisons have areas where they will put all of them together for their own protection if they want.

Depends what faith defines it.
To some Karma would be rewards or punishments for ones deeds. In which case its a fit. This pervert abused children sexually. In prison he has been abused sexually.
I don't cheer that he has received this treatment, but then nor do I mourn for him either. He made a choice to abuse children, to break our laws. He also made the choice to risk the consequences. Our prisons are a zoo for our country's most dangerous animals. He also had to know what would happen if he was ever sent to prison.
I find it typical of his ilk that he would complain about being sexually abused by fellow inmates and yet has no issue with abusing children.
I agree with many that the corrections officers failed in their jobs and should be held accountable for it as should the inmates that did the crimes. That said its hard to muster up the pity for such a criminal as a pedophile.
I don't feel bad for drug dealers who OD on drugs, nor for any violent criminal who meets an untimely death. This is the life they chose for themselves. I feel pity for their victims because they are the innocents in every story.

oh, trust me, I'm not mourning, but considering how many innocent people end up in jail, it isn't really prudent to have people beaten to death in jail. it seems as if this guy was guilty, but sometimes this isn't always the case. there have been 2 recent cases of accused child killers who were exonerated by DNA evidence (one was the Riley Fox case, can't remember the other at this moment but it involved two girls). if these men had been beaten to death in jail, a severe miscarry of justice would have occurred

not protecting the scumbags, trying to protect and uphold what little law and order is left in this country before it disintegrate into the form of "justice" practiced in some ME countries

Did you say the same when criticizing George W. Bush, John Yoo, Jay Bybee, Alberto Gonzales et al for authorizing the torture of prisoners at Gitmo? Did you absolve the guards who tormented accused terrorists because, after all, "karma's a b!t@#"?

Or were you among those of us who were outraged that we had sunk so low as to behave like barbarians, in spite of the crimes the victims may have committed?

Guards and management at that prison in Scranton may be guilty of crimes that led to the systematic abuse and ultimately the comatose condition of a prisoner they were charged with protecting. Where's the outrage against their behavior?
It would be nice to see one thread on here without some liberal talking about George Bush.

By the way, the Obama Adminstration has continued the rendition policy. Still sending people to secret CIA prisons and to countries we know toture people. Are you one of those outraged by that? Doubtful.

Get over yourself already. Bush aint the president anymore. Hasn't been for almost 2 years now. All your bitching and moaning and whining isn't going to change a ****ing thing. Let it go. Get on with your life.

He got what was coming to him. Life goes on for the rest of us, including his victims. They are who matter, not the now dead perp.

Of course you cheer for it; otherwise you would never had mentioned it.

You have no clue about "karma" or any other religious principle, including the Golden Rule.

That is what bothers me about this story. Who would read this and consider it a feel good story or even justice? I have no place in my heart for any pedo. I want him to stay behind bars until he's carried out in a body bag straight to the morgue.

At the same time, I don't support or condone rapists, no matter who they rape. How do we know he isn't getting released in a few years or a few weeks? Will he be a good boy even though he was encouraged to rape at will behind bars? Think about your son or daughter being his next victim.

These guards who know this mess is going on are just as disgusting. I wouldn't be surprised if they arrange these sort of things.

What kind of authority figures are these? How do you know if they are negligent against other inmates who are pedophiles? Try to convince me they have love for one kind of criminal and disdain for another!
