This flipant remark shows such a lack of understanding, and even more alarming how little people will invest in truly understanding the political system.
The political system we have is "a form of religion--the worship of jackals by jackasses." (H.L. Mencken)

I don't know whether the individual Republican pols actually "love" war and torture, or whether they merely know it sells with their degenerate voting base, on the one hand, and their war-profiteer donors on the other. Either way, they are extraordinarily dangerous.

perfect example is the last election.

voted for republican for house, indepdendent for senate, dem for president.

im not some hack who sticks with one party.

you want to get my vote? work for it, and convince me.

you come to me, i dont come to you, which is what these republican and dem straight line regardless of the candidate clowns give up by just voting for one party.

I think people who make broad generalizations and pronouncements without having a modicum of understanding are extraordinarily dangerous.

You can elaborate on that any time you like, or you can continue to marinate in the juices of your own great wisdom.

I'm a moderate Democrat and I'd be considered communist. That said, I don't vote straight Democrat either, but I identify more with them than with the Republicans.

I'm a Libertarian.

Freedom, Liberty, Justice. Those words will never mean the same to you as they do to me. They will never mean the same to me as they do to someone else. The only real answer to what ails the nation, is to set it free. Free from big government, nanny state policy, free from a meddling and intrusive foreign policy, and free from a usurious and deceptive monetary policy. What is right for you may not be right for me. Libertarians are the only ones who will respect your individual right to live as you see fit, according to your own ideology. Republicrats think you are too stupid to think for yourself and decide what is best for you and your family. Stop being sheep.

If you could manage to limit your ultra-liberal activities to be without Government involvement, you might be allowed to join the Ninth Amendment Party.
