Looks like you folks have reached a stalemate here. YOU won't say exactly what Glenn Beck has said that's actually come true and proved him right, and the other poster won't refute anything. Maybe, if you can't prove him RIGHT, then YOU have no argument beyond a personal LIKE for Beck?

Personally I believe Glenn Beck is a pervayor of hate rhetoric, fear and paranoia...not to mention an over load of drama! I watch him, and others on FOX. I also watch CNN and MSNBC. I take it all with a grain of salt, most of the time, but when I see outright blatant HUGE disrespect, for our president and, yes, our country and fear mongering...well, I have to go watch HGTV for a while and chill!

It's been said that Beck says he hopes his "predictions" don't come true but that's a lie. He'd love to see our current administration fail, big time, just so he could jump up and down with glee and yell "I TOLD YOU SO!!!". He'd probably have such an orgasm he'd kill himself and not be around to enjoy the "victory". LOL Sad thing is, I know plenty of people just like him!

No, it's not simple to demonstrate the falacies in Beck's shows/conclusiong.....it's time-consuming, and I don't think anybody on CD is getting paid to do that research. Simply google Glenn Beck Lies.
I have a ton of Liberal online friends and they ALL watch Glenn Beck...as do I. Not ALL his ratings come from GOP or TPers. The people I know want to know what he REALLY says and not rely on forums like this, or the media, for information. I also don't believe that Beck's followers have the "want to" to do their own research. It's sooo much easier to just willingly and trustingly believe what they hear. That just makes me sad...

This is interesting -- from 2003. Proof that Glennie is just taking you all down a well-worn (primrose) path.
Former National Review contributor and ex-House Republican staffer Phil Brennan called Soros a "socialist billionaire," and lumped him with the group of American "progressives" who he says spend their time "sitting in their privileged retreats, contemplating the glories of such heroes of socialism as Fidel Castro, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Benito Mussolini and that great leader of Iraq's socialist Ba'athist party Saddam Hussein."

Scott Shore of IntellectualConservative.com labeled him a "Soft Money Marxist." FrontPage Magazine's Lowell Ponte came up with "Radical Left-inclined puppet-master," adding, ominously: "[W]hat tune will this international financier demand from the party and President his millions purchased? What hidden agendas and interests, domestic and foreign, might be served?"

Thus we now have the spectacle of one of the world's most active and influential anti-communists (not to mention one of its most successful capitalists) being tarred as a particularly dangerous friend of Marx and Lenin.

It's scary, too, since evidently they're able to grope their way to the voting booths and the gun shops.

Whose watch was the 1993 World Trade Center bombing under? And the 2000 U.S.S. Cole?

And why didn't Clinton take Bin Laden into custody when he had the chance(s)?

Have to agree with you there. Although I have nothing against guns. Some of my best friends own guns...

The conservative/Republican people I know always, always vote a straight ticket. I can't do that. I owe no allegiance to any party and always vote for the person(s). Wish more would do that.

Good link, thanks.

Is this thread going to be the location for the Beck "Voices from the Burning Bush" series tonight?

Well, Beck uses that "reverse psychology" on them and it clearly works like a charm. He tells them NOT to believe him, to check up on what he says, and they understand that to mean they can TRUST HIM COMPLETELY and TOTALLY, that they don't have to do a single bit of fact checking. lol I've watched some of his shows too, but find his "style" far too annoying to endure, so I've started reading transcripts of his show. The transcripts are much, much easier to see through! and I don't have to endure his tears from time to time.

We were talking about the 9/11 attacks. NOT all terrorists' attacks. Someone posted that they had heard "libs" wistfully say that they wished the 9/11 attacks had happened on Clinton's watch. Read through the posts for that detail.
