Still spreading that old lie, ec? I thought you'd know by now that everybody knows it's BS, and that people still spreading that nonsense are rightly regarded as having completely detached from reality.

But hey, it's a free country!

That is your jaded misconception. The Tea party is alive and well with people like Ron Paul in Texas and Rand Paul in Kentucky.
Afraid to discuss the issues the anti Tea party crowd throws ridiculous claims and hope they stick.
Can we avoid discussing the horrible policies that put our country into a tailspin? YES WE CAN!

Be it misinformation or unwillingness to see the truth the extreme left cannot seem to own up to the horrible policies they back which has brought on the mess were in now. The right is just as worse. Blaming the left when they walk hand in hand with them on manipulating the economy. Jumping on the Tea Party bandwagon only when it fits their agenda.

go small or go home

The tea party were had as well as all of those who supported the right in this past election. The right have not tried to push anything to stop spending, nothing to help lower unemployment besides "get a job grandma" Nothing but extending tax cuts for the rich in the tune of 700 billion dollars.
The biggest example is McConnell and his shakedown of the right making all of them sign a paper saying they will not compromise what so ever. If the tea party were some kind of "movement" where is it? why are they all at the mercy of McConnell and his fascist agenda?

Don't you know that anyone who finally wakes up, changes their mind and now realizes the nation is being run into the ground by our government is a racist? Why that has to be the only explanation.

Reducing taxes is on the agenda, but oddly I see nothing mentioned anywhere about race except on the left wing brainwashing sites.

Really? So how did all of the racist signs that the TPers were holding up during their rallies express their outrage for "taxes"

The real motivation behind the Tea Party is undeniable....but the billionaire Republicans (Koch brothers et al) saw the opportunity to harsh this bigotry into a midterm notch point. And after the TPers had served their purpose they were disregarded, dismissed and dropped like a bad habit. The true Republican establishment is running so fast from that band of loose cannons led by that loon Sarah Palin.
