It was February 4, 2009, when newly inaugurated President Obama signed into law the two largest tax increases in U.S. history.

You made a good point here.

Everyone seems to think the economy fell & taxes increased as of 4 November 2008. The repubs are nothing but undercover political thugs who'll do anything to get their way. The whole time GWB did things to cause this mess, they kept their mouth's shut.

Since Obama took office, they want to try to paste the mess on him & block him from doing what he can to fix their party's screw-ups!

Guess the repubs hung-up the old tea-bags after the mid-terms since they don't need to pimp them for the moment.
The "Tea-Party / Tea-bags" better wake-up & realize the republicans are not for them, they're only for the rich, which is what the Tea-Party claim they're not.

Compared to who

You surely don't mean Obama's relentless efforts to nationalize and socialize health care, You have yet to notice his dismal performance and lack of respect in the world community.

I noticed it really picking up steam with others during the TARP/ Automaker bailouts. (hint:Bush, a whitey was still in office)
But go ahead and strawman away if it helps you receive validation, I know you and your ilk want so desperately for this to be about race and not the pathological destructive actions of our government.
Hmmmmm. However, you and your ilk only felt compelled to express your displeasure after the election of President Obama....the motivations are very quite suspect

You're going to throw your back out if you keep moving the goal posts like that.

But I expect nothing less than pure avoidance of the truth from you, ec. You've demonstrated time after time that you're not interested in the facts when it comes to the Tea Party movement. You're only interested in defending your indefensible position. Is it any wonder that you're always on the losing side in these debates?

The TPers are too short-sighted to wake up and smell that coffee because they are too caught up in the President Obama hate parade.

The Tea Party movement was nothing but a conglomeration of all the different segments of Barack Obama haters (birthers, bigots, Hesmuslimists et al) all rolled into one big lump.

Not after his election, after he spent trillions of additional dollars on top of what was already too much. You keep forgetting that part.

exactly..I don't know who the OP was referring to or who the press is referring to when they talk about the "tea party". But I went to Washington on 9/12 last year and stood in protest to the actions of these politicians on both sides of the aisle. It just so happened that the progressives were in power at the time, now the GOP. Let's see what they do. But to think for one minute that this is an organized funded club or something...is either misguided or dishonest. This is a group of Americans who have shared values and principles and are awake now. We learned that we can organize just like the far left and their Union backers. This is why we were so effective in 11/10 with ousting the career politicians in Washington. So, if you think for one minute that we are no longer significant..just watch..and you may learn something...

Who told you I lost? Just because you think your right that means I lost. The tea party will show soon enough that they are racist who only care about getting rid of Obama. Nothing can change that. One of them has already tried to start a bill only allowing property owners to vote. That has racism written all over it. Again why is the tea party not protesting the 700 billion being added to the deficit. It is a simple question.

Don't set there and pretend like you care about what the GOP does. You and the tea party only want the total destruction of the idea of Obama. The GOP just forced the President to add 700 billion dollars to the deficit and have not seen one d::"" tea party sign.
