Maybe you could explain how those horrible corporations can expand so as to need more people before they know that they will not have to pay the second highest income tax rates in the world.

The purpose of a corporation is to make money for the share holders. How will we see that happening after the government takes over all corporate activity? I just don't understand.

Where else, may I ask, do you imagine jobs will come from?
If you had bothered to read the OP, you would have read that business made the highest profits last quarter than ever before in our history...WHERE WERE THE JOBS???

You must mean jobs for India and China...oh...okay.

Americans are fools. Look at the responses to this thread. The denial of facsism in the USA is utterly astounding but expected with the distractions of rhetoric and technical perversion.

Corporations love to outsource jobs. The Republicrats love to accommodate the corporations while screwing the working class citizen through propaganda. It's a shell game that only benefits the elite.

It's sad to see a nation fall so far due to corrupt government in bed with greedy corporations only concerned about maximizing power and control. Isn't corporatism great ?

Why aren't the corporations licking the Republican's boots in return?

Whose boots do the Democrats lick?

Don't be silly.

Lots of jobs were created, just not here.

"The bill survived a bruising battle in the House of Representatives in May, and Clinton has hailed the measure as a turning point in relations between the world's richest and most populous nations.Granting permanent, normal trade relations to China is considered the most important U.S. trade legislation since passage of the North American Free Trade Agreement in 1993. But it faced a long campaign of opposition from labor, human rights and conservative groups who wanted to retain the annual review of trade relations with China."

Who the hell is Issa kidding with that bull pucky about less regulations creating jobs??? The Republicans use that crap on each issue. Business had record profits and where are all of the jobs that it should have created?

Corporate Profits Were the Highest on Record Last Quarter

A corporation is only a business tool to limit liability against assets, it is not evil. Due to all the lawsuits over anything, you can't survive without being a corporation.
To ask employers in business what would work better is not a bad idea.
Many corporations are international now, so you could see some record profits for some, but there were also tons of bankruptcies.

There is nothing wrong with growing the business sector, there is a lot wring in growing government.

Lower the US corporate tax rate to something like what EU nations charge and corporations that have down-sized or left the US will once again do business here. First we have to understand we are the ones who put out the not welcome mat for international corporations with our excessively high taxes and stifling regulations.

Wasn't BO supposed to renegotiate NAFTA?

Guess he's still to busy apologizing for our past arrogance to get us decent trade deals with the low wage nations that dump their cheap Walmart-worthy crap on our markets.

Many corporations don't need lower corporate tax rates because they usually reinvest in the business (which is deductible or they make payments to employees and investors who pay at the regular income tax rates.

Said perfectly. The problem is there is so much ignorance in america and the worst of the worst follow their republican masters like sheep. Anyone with half a brain can see the republicans and especially the tea party are nothing but ultra right wing fascist extremists that want to destroy the middle class and give everything to the rich. Just look at the stock market, it's soaring, massive profits for big corporations but the average american is struggling, just the way they want it.
