Florida Politics | Sun Sentinel blog | Administration says health care repeal jeopardizes Floridians

About 7.8 million Floridians with pre-existing health problems could lose coverage or face higher insurance costs if the new health-care law is repealed, the Obama administration warned on Tuesday.
The estimate released by Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius reflects an administration backlash to repeal efforts in the House, where debate on the new law begins on Tuesday. A vote is expected later this week.

Democrats, backed by AARP, launched a lobbying effort on several fronts, including a press conference scheduled later Tuesday by Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Weston, who will argue that repeal would have devastating consequences.

First of all, that number is about 1/2 of the entire population of the state of Florida. Secondly, 0bamaCare is not even fully operational yet. And thirdly, the republicans have already stated, numerous of times, that their plan would include coverage for "pre-existing conditions".

Lastly, the republicans plan on repealing 0bamaCare, and replacing it with sensible legislation.

You should really do a tiny bit of homework before allowing yourself to be mislead by partisan hacks like those you quoted.

A plan that will not happen. Wake me up when it does.

How many times have we seen the Obama administration use fear mongering to forward their agenda?
Typical tactic with the Progressives.

They will never understand facts. Might as well forget it.

On one hand they say a few million is nothing and then pull out this one.

Liberal hypocrisy is shining.

...and it uses purposeful distortions, fabrications and outright lies.

As if.....the only answer is 0bamaCare, and before it was signed into law in 2010, all those 7.8 million Floridians had no coverage what so ever.

The left are like children that are caught with chocolate frosting and cake crumbs all over their face, hands and shirt, and then expecting no one will suspect they were sneaking chocolate cake from the frig.

What criteria do you use to differentiate fear mongering with reality/logic?

PS. Give me an example or two of both, as that will certainly help taking this discussion further.
