I wonder how many people here knew that Michelle Obama does P90x. With a routine like that and mainly healthy eating, a one-day-a-year Super Bowl Party isn't going to instantly balloon her to obesity.
Yes, just lighten up every once in a while. Tell this to my cousin's husband that died right after eating saugage with the guests they had that weekend. Being healthy is an everyday thing.
Interesting that they invited Republicans and then served food that can kill. Is that called killing with kindness. LOL
Then we have another friend that celebrated his and his wife's 50th anniversary and died the next day.
We all do the "just for today" thing but it is unhealthy and nobody should really do it. I am talking to myself here, but those two deaths I told you about have really gotten my attention. What bite of grease will be your last?
If they were huge balloon people, I could see your point. Unfortunately, they are not. So your point is more of a fail.
Meh, many of the responses in this thread seem to be quite malicious. No logic, no real response to the subject at hand. There's no diet that says you never get to eat "unhealthy" food occasionally. You can certainly maintain your weight and health with exercise and moderate eating.

You make no sense at all. And you fail. Badly.
It does not matter one bit if they are large or small or anything in between. The point is, Michelle made this her cause and she is setting a poor example.
I know you are not drinking so much kool-aide that you cannot see this.
Only the RWNJs would create a thread about something as trivial as what food was served at a Super Bowl party at the White House. Once again, more proof of just how low these people will stoop to take a swing at President Obama and the First Lady.
Are the RWNJs that obsessed with the Obama's?
Not low at all. Not trivial at all.
Again, Michelle made healthy eating her cause and she needs to walk the walk. If she does not do this, she needs to be called out for it.

That is totally irrelevant. She made her cause healthy eating and she needs to eat healthy -especially while hosting an event that she knows will gather media attention.

Do you not see the distinction between advocating for a healthy diet and having the occasional party with friends (at which healthy foods WERE available!)?

I used to be fat. I went on a low calorie diet with exercise daily and lost 60 lbs. and I had Thurdays. On Thursday, I could anything I wanted. Thing was, after not eating very much at all for 6 days, you just can't pound it away. You get full too fast and can't eat very much at all.
And after watching the weight melt away for days and then stop, 'cuz you blew it on Thursday, added in as well.
MOVE IT !! (with a chicken wing hanging from your mouth...)..eat a cheeseburger while on the treadmill..I never realized Mrs Mao was an expert in nutrition...wow all things to all people...
