How is that worse then the filibuster which Republicans have literally spent the last four years doing? Refusing to fill a quorum is just another parliamentary trick to stop legislation you oppose so stop trying to pretend one is worse then the other.
No, it isn't a parliamentary trick, the filibuster is a democratic process. Abandoning you responsiblities by running to another state is dereliction as the Senator's staffers are about to find out.
Says you. Notice how real doctors and insurance companies disagree with your layman's diagnose? Could it be because they actually know what the hell they're talking about where as you are just, forgive me, a completely medically ignorant no one trying to pretend you know more then real actual doctors? could it be because real actual doctors know prevention is cheaper then expensive cures? Food for thought (not that you'll give it any).
LOL, I take it you didn't know she works in health care (IIRC)? I don't think "medically ignorant" applies.

Really? All doctors and insurance companies disagree with me? You are not telling the truth.
I have repeatedly pointed out to you, teachers are failures and produce inferior results.
Not all, but a good number of them are.
Tell me, neighbor. What are your taxes looking like in Hoboken these days? 10/15/20K/year? For what? One of the worst school districts in the state and to pay those fat 100K + teachers salaries.
Now those pigs are are the epitome of the word "failure."

True not all are failures, I am engaging in hyperbole. Unfortunately the union will not allow us to eveluate teachers based on merit. So it is difficult to determine who is bad and who is good.
We spend $24K per student and the schools are not very good at all. Taxes on a 2 bed room 1100sf, in a new building run around $15K. A bargin, huh? And you have to add on tuition because the schools stink.

In order to filibuster, you must first show up for work!
Sorry to abruptly change the subject, but I found this interesting:
Supporters of legislation to reduce public employee union bargaining power and benefits in Wisconsin were far outnumbered by opponents on Saturday, as the two sides shouted competing slogans under clear skies.
Tens of thousands have demonstrated throughout the week against Republican Governor Scott Walker's proposals, which supporters say are necessary to bring state spending under control and opponents contend are aimed at breaking the back of state worker unions.
Both sides drew thousands on Saturday, but opponents appeared to have several times as many on hand as those attending a rally backed by Tea Party groups, the first such demonstration this week.

It is no more interesting than when you posted it in the other thread. At the end of the day , the Governor and the people will win an the public employee movement will be dealt a severe blow.
