LOL! The great "silent majority". That worked well for Nixon, didn't it?

Every single teacher who called off "sick" should be fired no questions asked.

If they can prove they were at this event and not at work they should be fired with no chance of recourse.
He has all these assistants and personal czars.
You'd think one of them could proofread his stuff before he reads it ?

Or..maybe these are little white lies on purpose by all. Once people hear it then it becomes the truth.

If the protests and pressure by the bused in union thugs didn't work to change the mind of the governor/GOP legislators in the first two days, you can forget about it now. They are not going to negotiate the issue. The governor has said so, the GOP legislature has said so. You see, even though the union/obama/DNC tried to flood the phones of the Gov/legislature, the people were getting through, voicing their support. Now with the thousands from the TP/Walker supporters who made it out today, there is a snowball's chance in hades of the Gov backing down.

They (union) shouldn't have pushed so hard for their $750K Viagra.
That probably really upset some folks.

Yes. I don't understand why anyone would think the MILLIONS of VOTERS who elected Walker and the GOP in Nov would be changing their mind now, when they are getting to the nuts and bolts of the problem.

That is WHY they were elected in Nov, that is WHY the GOP took over both chambers.

The Left still doesn't understand the magnitude of the Nov 2010 election.

Bull. Both tactics (filibuster or prevent a quorum from being filled) are legitimate parliamentary tactics used by minorities since around the 13th century. Don't whine about the rules when the other side uses the rules to prevent the tyranny of the majority especially when it is obvious popular action by the populous will prevent the worst abuses. What is good for the goose is good for the gander even if partisan hacks are unhappy with the results. In fact, especially if partisan hacks are unhappy.

Majorities in both states elected both of them very recently. Yep there aren't as many union members as the unions let on.

It's great that people are waking up. These are certainly troubling times in our country, but I'm glad we're having a vigourous national debate about issues we've ignored for too long. Here in the blue state of New Jersey, Republican Governor Christie has an approval rating of over 50%. Cuomo, who is essentially proposing the same measures as Christie and others has an approval rating of over 70% in New York.
