Walker will be taking a walk in one year when he can be recalled. I promise you that!
There is NO CHANCE of that.

He is doing what the people elected him to do. You must not remember this is an issue he ran on.

If you don't know what they are getting paid find out before you comment on pay.

I think they are getting paid well and benefit package is above average for their local.

Their union has been able to do very well for them. Today things are different. The state is in dire financial shape with worse to come.

The gov. and the state has a financial responsibility to ALL the people of the state.

Would you rather have a few tighten their belts a little, or lay off thousands? That is the choice they had to make. They chose belt tightening.

what do you think the reaction would have been if they had chosen layoffs?
Where did I say I don't think there should be a limit? No one is arguing there shouldn't be a limit and no one is arguing that reforms don't need to be made. The unions have agreed to the concessions; that is a FACT. What they are fighting against, is the collective bargaining agreement.

Not commenting based upon not knowing what their pay is dumb statement. I have no clue what the cost of living is in WI; just like I bet you have no clue what the cost of living is in California.

Those men and women, bargained, in good faith and were given their contracts. Those contracts were approved by the state. Why is it THEIR fault, someone gave them more then what you have? You wouldn't have this attitude if it were your pay and benefits on the line.

And, as I have said and no one comments on, where was the outrage 10 years ago? People said things about the pay/benefits of government employee's, 10 years ago and NONE OF you uttered a peep. Not word one. You wouldn't care now, if the DOW was back to 14 thousand, for your 401k would be what it was.

All of a sudden, this is an issue. By the way, have you seen the real facts on this in WI? You notice, police and fire are not effected and are EXEMPT from this? However, they make up the VAST majority of outlay for government employee's?

The people in this country wanted a "socialist" style government, dating back to the 60's. Power to the people. Worker's rights, et al. And they got what they wanted. Now that it is not fiscally expediate to care for these people, lets just sweep them under the carpet and forget about them.

Power to the people...

Correct! Because this was NOT an issue Walker ran on.

Again, if election results dictate forthcoming policies, you should be in support of EVERYTHING Obama supports!

No hatred whatsoever. I just think there are consequences to actions. These teachers acted in a manner exhibiting a total lack of regard for the students. They should not be treaching.

And the governor and republican legislators are acting in a manner exhibiting a total lack of respect for all labor union employees and those protesting. They should resign and not be in charge.
