My premiums (private sector) went up 20% for 2011.
Previous to that they were an average of 10% per year increase.

If the taxpaying public at large continues to support the "right to work" movement in an effort to reduce the cost to local and state governments the entire Communist union movement of "workers of the world unite" fails, big time.
Those of us with a lick of common sense are going to have to go out and counter protest the unions. And it'll be even more important for us to elect and re-elect those (Christie, Walker, Cuomo, etc.) who are finally doing something about them.

Useless.

As long as you're consenting to the madness, nothing can change.

Background details here:

I don't consent to madness. My government doesn't listen to me and I really don't believe that this country can survive a civil war between citizens in the streets.

You say denouncing our POTUS's involvement is the wrong move and calling him out for promoting anti-government union protests is inappropriate?

When BAU wants to override reality it certainly is.

The country is broke. Revenue is down.
Cost cutting and austerity has to take the font seat.
Delusional thoughts of money raining from the skies to fill in the gaps just ain't gonna happen.

Welcome to democracy neo-conservative style.

Didn't hear you complaining when the Tea Party were out protesting against a democratically elected government.

Hypocrites ... You bet
Oh please try and at least compare apples to oranges instead of deflecting the topic. The Tea Party never influenced legislators to walk out on their oath and their sworn duty because they opposed Obamacare. Instead we worked within they legislative system and within the courts. We did not shut down democracy as the union activists and Democrat WI legislators are doing now.

The union activists, WI Democrat legislators who abdicated their sworn duty and our POTUS included, are abridging the legislative process, interrupting/shutting down basic services, denying students their education, and more.

I have never seen a president behave in such a way, but he is tied at the hip to the unions, you could hardly expect less, could hardly expect him to throw them under the bus, that's only reserved for our allies.

The TP protests were a genuine uprising of Americans, fed up with DC. THIS is a manufactured protest by the dems and obama to retain power for the unions.

They can protest after school and on the weekends.
Parents who don't work or want to take time off can protest.
Send the union bosses in to have talks.

Kids education doesn't have to be sacrificed because they want their union benefits.

BAU?

I understand the rest, if you've read any of my posts you would understand you are preaching to the choir.

This is almost unbelievable! The Federal Gov. needs to stay out of the States' Business. This is no grassroots movement/protest. This is straight out of Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" which is on both the NEA and OFA's recommended reading list.

Yes, and you see Obama go on camera, admit he knows little about the details of the matter, but still say it's an assault on the unions!

Of course, he also knew no details about the cop that asked his friend to show some ID and then went out in public and still said the cops behaved stupidly.
