We may be watching this happen for the first time in American history.

I think this is a dangerous precedent.

hussein obama is first and foremost a union thug and radical. It's all he knows.

1. According to the public record, you did, via many forms, signed and filed in the public record.
2. Are you sure it's "your" government?

3. Best analogy is a sinking Pirate Ship of State. Denouncing the captain and his officers will not stop the leak, nor prevent you from drowning. Get off the ship and upon dry land! (In this case, "law of the land".)

Right now, the United Socialist States of America is on the verge of transforming into the People's Democratic Socialist Republic of America.
The long and slow journey has been on going since the original republican form of government was subverted into a democracy. And later, it was perverted by usurers into a socialist democracy.

We are witnessing the terminal spasms of the only nation that ever had a republican form - and whose people threw it away.

GOVERNMENT (Republican Form of Government)- One in which the powers of sovereignty are vested in the people and are exercised by the people,... directly...

Impeach Obama now!
Surely as this happens, the sheeple will speak it away, is their no shame when it comes to thsi President at all. Impeach him yes way now.

There's absolutely no way he'll get the courage to suggest that the Dems that ran and hid do what they were elected and are paid to do.

Are you protesting?
Lick of sense, huh?

Teachers get paid squat for a ridiculously hard job.
This destruction of benefits won't affect only teachers but everyone who works.

Too bad people are extremely shortsighted and won't see this until it's too late.

You should be protesting that you don't have benefits while others do.
Raise our standards instead of lowering more.

The world laughs at the US and at how the citizens shoot themselves in the foot to support anyone but the workers.

Extremely shortsighted people. Extremely shortsighted.

I find that very unacceptible. The state is broke. Everyone has to take up some slack.
WOW.
Why not do some research instead of running into a thread making allegations of I heard, I heard... It's not hard to research on the internets.
Makes it look like you're making it or spending too much quality time with Rush or Beck.

Posts like this have no credibility.

Ooooh, looks like someone has a book fixation. Excellent use of Limbaugh's talking point.

The NEA also recommends these books: http://www.nea.org/grants/29498.htm

Illegal what?

There is nothing illegal about these protests by the teachers. Settle down folks. Read our constitution from the top, it's a good start.

We, as US citizens, all have the right to assemble and petition the government for grievances. Reasons can be any. Timing can be any. Full stop. Period.

Buckle up, indeed. It's not going to end with Wisconsin. With our debt and actual insolvency of many states, local and national government it's going to flare up further. It's just a matter of time. The country is going bankrupt.

Our country's founders have wisely devised many vents for the populace, but sometimes the pressure just builds up enough to blow the lid off.

They should change their names from Democrats to something like 1960's Radicals, Maoist or Trotskyites.
The Rs have already shut down the federal government and are threatening to do so again.

Try getting your facts straight.
I know it's difficult.

Demanding $750K worth of Viagra and not wanting to pay for it got the WI union where they are today.

We have no money but the unions don't seem to understand that or seem to think that doesn't apply to them.
