so what she is really saying is the dmeocrats are paying off the teahers unions to get their vote and organiztion abilties. That is nothig new as the stimulus spending showed;it never was a huge infrastructure and with the related job bill. Voters have said that thios specail nterest needs to be rained in to balance the budget.
On her MSNBC program, Rachel Maddow explained what the protests in Wisconsin are really all about. Maddow said, “What’s happening in Wisconsin right now is not about a budget. This is about elections. This is about the Republican Party going after the institutions that make it possible for Democrats to win elections in America.”
So obviously true and thank you Rachel for expalining it so eloquently. Maybe the problem is that naysayers are not used to eloquence...after all, their ears are tuned to "Palin Speak". Quite a difference in wavelength, level of sophistication and intelligence.
Beck to Start “The Blaze” Website to Counter GlennBeckReport.com
So here comes Glenn with his own “news” website. Guess who’s going to do the “news” for him? Why, it’s Scott Baker, formerly of Breitbart TV! Why not? They sure are known for their journalistic integrity. Breitbart never met a lie he couldn’t amplify and repeat, so I’m sure Baker will fit in just fine with the Beck machine. The photo to the left is Beck and Baker from 10/9/09 discussing a wild and totally made up conspiracy theory involving Wade Rathke, Deepak Bhargava, and Barack Obama. Ohmigod, they gush, Deepak Bhargava and Obama were at Harvard at the SAME TIME! It’s another plot to overthrow the government and turn us into Kenya! http://glennbeckreport.com/2010/08/b...eckreport-com/

My family is a mix of Democrats and R's, but they're all teachers and union members. Unions often tend to endorse democrats because the democrat's policy proposals are more strongly oriented to issues facing working and middle class Americans, but it's hardly a given. I can give you a concrete example--In 1994 when we were living in the Ozarks, the public workers union there got behind Sarah Steelman, a very moderate R, to defeat long term state Senator Mike Lybyer (D). It happens more often than you think.
You don't need Rachel to prove to anyone why the Dems are doing what they are doing, you don't need magazines, or the News to tell ya exactly why the Dems are doing what they are doing. In a way they are acting as spoiled brats. Don't like Rachel, her news, her methods, her personality.
