I think there has been limited looting in Japan, but not nearly as much as would be expected here. Why are the Japanese more well-behaved? First they have more community spirit, they obey the law rather than disgrace their community. And they don't have the "grab all you can" attitude that prevails especially among the young, and they are on average older.

I don't believe there's been limited looting...only limited coverage of it. Has this even aired on the news? This is MAJOR money...doesn't even come close to the TV's people here keep harping on.
"Grab all you can"..what exactly are they going to grab? Everything is rubble.
The photographer said he believed that they have found the objects. Not that he saw them simply find them. He also never mentions whether or not he saw the person looting. Again, this is simply reconfirming the bias.
what part of 'he saw the person go into the shop and take the goods' did you not see?
Curious why I haven't heard any news reports of looting, rioting or civil unrest in Japan? Japan not only suffered a Tsunami/Flooding, but also an 8.9 quake?
This disaster makes Katrina look like a day at the park. Yet, you would never know how horrible things were from the civility and calm that Japanese citizens display during this horrible catastrophe.
If they can conduct themselves in such an honorable way, maybe there's something citizens from other countries can learn from Japan?
First and foremost, your reports (the ones YOU are watching) are severely restricted/edited/limited. Second, I am guessing that their police and government officials are not so busy stealing cars for resale. I bet that they have enough dignity to stand by their posts.
It is called honor in the face of adversity. Some step up and some don't. Obviously, there is a different value system.
