signed, a huntress.
PETA is a "domestic terrorist organization". Talk about sick. They're terrorists because they bring attention to the barbaric way we treat animals before we slaughter and eat them? I prefer to think of them as freedom fighters for those who can't fight for themselves.

In Alaska, whenever we have a problem with the wildlife, we relocate the tourist causing the problem.

Why can't the Zimbabwe gov't shoot it's own elephants? Why do they have to wait for a rich white guy to fly in from America? Does Parsons sit by his bat phone waiting for a call and ready to spring into action?

And they are counterproductive in that effort in that they alienate people with their stupid, pointless stunts.

I understand the kill. I don't understand this guy making the kill though outside of publicity.

The GoDaddy CEO is being completely ridiculous here. As the Time editorial put it, this is really about a half-step up from spending spring break in North Korea. He seems to want to channel an inner Teddy Roosevelt but is actually coming off as a Richard Nixon.
Do the homework. I've posted elsewhere on this forum PETA's ties to domestic terrorism. USDA & FBI have PETA on the list of domestic terror organizations. All one has to do is "follow the money" from PETA to ELF, ALF, and others.

Hunting responsibly on Safari in Africa actually has the long term affect of protecting the species by making them more valuable for villagers so that they are motivated to protect them from poachers at large and to learn game management.

I don't see this "Go Daddy" CEO as doing that per his video.

You can choose to think of them any way you wish. That does not erase the reality of what they actually are. Do you support Ayers/Dohrn and the Weather Underground bombings too. They thought they were "justified" in breaking the law, bombings that killed people, etc.... . PETA is no different and actually born out of the same radical mold that promotes violence as an acceptable means to an end as does SDS.
