I would have to live on the border between the libertarian nation and the conservative nation... If conservatives would actually start being conservative this wouldn't be necessary.

If America split into a Liberal Nation, Conservative Nation and Libertarian Nation Which Would You Live In?

THe conservative and liberatarian nations would be pretty much indistinguishable, so either would be fine for me.

Only real difference would be when some foreign nation on the other side of the world started developing nuclear weapons while screaming "Death to the Great Satan!" (that means us, in case you didn't know)....

...both the conservative and libertarian nations would negotiate with the Death-to-Satan nation and try to get them to stop. But there would be a lot more eye-rolling and tired, annoyed looks among the conservatives, than among the libertarians, though both would try equally hard to de-fuse the situation.

...the conservative nation would have spies in the country to determine what was really going on, plus spy satellites and aircraft to supplement their negotiating teams. And when it looked like the weapons program is on track to actually producing a nuke, they would send in Special Ops teams to destroy the labs, reactors, and manufacturing facilities, with bombers overhead with conventional ground-penetrating bunker busters to make sure they got them all. After that episode was over, they would then resume negotiations to try to prevent it from happening again, hoping that the Death-to-Satan folks got the message the first time, but preparing Round 2 in case they didn't.

...but the libertarian nation would simply say, "They aren't currently hurting us, so we mustn't hurt them", and keep the Special Forces (if they had any) at home and the bombers on the ground.
Then when some fishing boats went boom with 5-megaton force in New York harbor, Boston, Charleston, Miami, New Orleans, San Diego, Long Beach, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay, Portland, and Seattle; at the same time some decrepit-looking 18-wheelers with cargoes transferred over the Mexican border by OTMs did the same thing in Denver, Omaha, Dallas, Minneapolis, Chicago and a few other such spots, the libertarians would start voting conservative, if there were any left.

You might want to rethink that.
Your Democrat Senate would never confirm the outstanding constitutional Supreme Court nominees your Libertarian President would nominate.

I would have to see what kinds of benefits we the people would lose out on if we went to Liberterian type of govt.

We'd be spending less money, but the people would lose out on a lot of things we are use to having.

Some questions off of the top of my head:

Who will pay for the roads?

Will there be any kind of a safety net for people who lose their jobs and have no money, or will they be "on their own"?

Will we continue to have USDA meat and food inspections?

Will we have OSHA mandated workplace controls to protect the safety of the workers?

Will we still have environmental controls?

Would the owner of an establishment be allowed to serve who he wants to, and deny service at that establishment based on peoples nationality, race or religion?

I'd need to know more about what life as an American would be like under a Liberterian rule.

We know what life is like under Democrat and Republican rule. Dems and Repubs are the "devil we know", so to speak, but I just need to know more information before I can sign on as a Liberterian and be comfortable with my decision.

No, because the libertarian state would be socially liberal, and the conservative one would be socially conservative. The libertarian side of the border would be saturated with whorehouses, liquor stores, abortion clinics, pot-shops and casinos, while the conservative one would be saturated with churches, Mormon temples and political ads. Big difference.

There are solid conservative places in the deep south, but there aren't many businesses there, while there are many businesses in liberal California.

Today? Liberal land. 20 years from now? Libertarian land. As I have said before, The libertarians have a great idea for how to live once technology really catches up.
