Yeah, because all of that will fall right in your lap. Go out and GET the capital, connections and skills.
I just moved to a different state where I know nobody. But I have a plan to start investing. I've got the beginnings of knowledge, and am working on the capital and connections. But I'm NOT sitting around whining about how someone needs to leave those things on my front steps.
Gawd, I am so sick of people that think everything will be handed to them. The poor don't need better networks, they need to get OUT AND FIND THEM.
HowTF (TM) do you invest with an annual income of $11K?
What about the person that wants to live peacefull with a decent income and as little strife as possible? Why are these people never considered in your discussions?
Nobody's stopping you from living that life? Oh wait, the government is. Because the more successful you become, the more vilified you become Unless of course you're in a union.
So Harvard does get about $400,000,000 a year, and the poor do not get grants and tuition assistance, and the university did not raise its tuition by almost 4% during a time when we see inflation and a stagnant economy? Senior citizens have not seen a increase to their SS checks in two years, but Harvard raised its tuition 8% during those same two years?
You have not answered my question, you have only asked more questions. You claim that government intervention is the cause of high college tuition rates. Please back that claim up. Harvard is a private institution, FYI, and since I don't think you realize how or why the Harvard corporation does what it does, you should probably move from discussing the most elite American university as if it is a barometer. Especially since need-based scholarships at Harvard have increased over the past few years.
I have mostly lived with little strife because I can not tolerate stressful situations. I do resent the morons that use inflation to make it more difficult to remain without strife.
And what did you expect to make out of your life with an $11K annual income ? Do you expect to be able to live the American Dream on $11K per year ?
If my government allowed tiny houses I could afford (instead of minimum lot size of 10K), I could do okay.
Instead I have to rent crappy rooms in crappy crowded houses where I can't get any peace and quiet.
