It does not matter that when a low income person files their income taxes they usually get back everything they paid in, and even get more back then they paid in, all that matters is that 0bama said it was "unfair".

I don't read media matters, and we are not experiencing a period of downward wealth redistribution.

You are literally making things up.

Yeah, because all of that will fall right in your lap. Go out and GET the capital, connections and skills.

I just moved to a different state where I know nobody. But I have a plan to start investing. I've got the beginnings of knowledge, and am working on the capital and connections. But I'm NOT sitting around whining about how someone needs to leave those things on my front steps.

Gawd, I am so sick of people that think everything will be handed to them. The poor don't need better networks, they need to get OUT AND FIND THEM.

Wealth And Inequality In America
How many middle and lower class people put themselves too far in debt to even make headway ?

Living above your means is no way to improve your financial status.
Debt is not wealth and debt will not make you wealthy..especially 40 year mortgages and 5-6 year car loans.

Owning the doorknob while the bank owns the rest of the house is not moving forward.

More reasons not to trust the Right.
Nice civility there. Have you heard nothing from Obama about keeping it civil?

Funny, I say the exact same thing about the Left. And I don't trust the Left, either.

So Harvard does get about $400,000,000 a year, and the poor do not get grants and tuition assistance, and the university did not raise its tuition by almost 4% during a time when we see inflation and a stagnant economy? Senior citizens have not seen a increase to their SS checks in two years, but Harvard raised its tuition 8% during those same two years?

I guess we're discussing apples and oranges. What you call wealth redistribution, I call the fruits of capitalism.

This is what I call redistribution:
Record number of Americans helped by government safety net - Apr. 13, 2011

Why is it the bottom 47% pay no taxes, yet are receiving more and more government money?

What about the person that wants to live peacefull with a decent income and as little strife as possible? Why are these people never considered in your discussions? Why is everything about competition and continous "striving" to "get ahead"?
