I remember one time I went on a plane. This was in France, to the US, a few days after they foiled the Heathrow hijacking plot.
There were a bunch of muslims getting on the plane, dressed in traditional garb. I'll be honest: I was nervous. I think everyone was.
We finally land at Dulles. Baggage claim, blah blah blah, as I'm leaving the airport I notice a guy with a large sign that says "State Department Student Exchange Program" (or something like that) and sure enough I see a few of those people who were on my flight walk up to that man and then leave with him.
It was that day which made me realize that assuming someone will do something based solely on their appearance is pretty shortsighted.
Sorry, with the conditions being as they are and if I was a pilot and pilots do have the FINAL SAY in who boards the plane no way would I allow anyone who would make me feel unsafe on my plane.
We need to stop being so politically stupid and do the right thing to protect the pilot, his staff and others on the plane first and foremost.

And maybe you just got lucky. It isn't you or me that made this problem, it IS the islamics who did.
It isn't like there ISN'T 2000 years of trouble either. When islamics end the problem by dealing with it, this will end, but not a second before.
The problem we have is we can't tell who is who. Haven't you attended a grade school class where the teacher was forced to punish the whole class because a student would not fess up to the infraction?

Yes. She called her class a benevolent dictatorship.
You had better be more worried about those who dress as American as apple pie, not those who wear traditional clothing. The hysteria about Muslims is no different that the hysteria about Jews in Nazi Germany - it is based on ignorance and fear and the willingness to embrace both.
but where in the koran does it say "thou shalt fly planes into buildings"?
Good point HurricaneDC!
So it's a coincidence that terrorists are Muslims?
