I just finished reading the article and this confirms my belief that liberalism is a mental disorder. Please read the article, it will take less than 2 minutes. These people are a disgrace, and are gonna destroy this childs psyche. Sadly, I'm sure that more than a few Neo Progs here will find this behavior "enlightening" and the epitome of "tolerance."

Not according to the "enlightened" Neo Progs in the article. They'll just treat their child gender neutral and let him/her decide what it wants to be. I mean, who doesn't think that 4 month olds should be making critical life altering decisions?

Doesn't each person decide or discover his or her own gender? How much control do parents have over creating or influencing the gender of their child? Seriously, do infants have gender?
It seems to me they're keeping the biological sex of the child secret, not the gender.
I didn't see anywhere in the article where they're "letting the baby decide". They're just not telling noisy neighbors. The kid will know it's gender at the same time every other kid realizes what there gender is. It's just conservatives who seek to control the entire aspect of others child bearing/rearing process who are foamimg at the mouth. They just can't accept when people express their freedom in a way they don't like.
