Oh, I thought we were talking about the USA, not Syria, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Iraq, Iran, et al.
That is extremely short-sighted and completely ignores that attitudes that Americans have towards EVERYTHING... not the least including not minding that millions of jobs were sent overseas just so someone can buy a cheap plastic toy at Walmart for $0.39, among other things.
It's funny that liberals complain about this but you hear crickets about who signed NAFTA into law... Their own people sold them out! Then the guy turned around and got a hummer in the oval office.. Proud very proud!

what do you want people to do, all be armed on the aircraft? Then some nut will shoot a screaming toddler, or a panicked passenger. What are you thinking! Freedom works is a great catch phrase....but we've never been worried about foreign terrorists that had so much "2nd amendment" rights themselves that they are armed to the teeth and aiming to obliterate us. That particular 2nd amendment allows thugs, terroists, drug cartels and war-mongers to have free rein making many billionaires and maiming and killing everyone else!
If getting a security screening at the airport is such a hassle that you think its the main cause of the demise of America i'd suggest you drive your car to where you want to go..Problem solved

instead of having the goverment make another department such as the TSa, why not just let qualified american citizens travel with their firearms, ccw or not.

I never knew flying on an airplane was a constitutional right. If you don't like TSA, be thankful you live in America. You have choices. There's bus, train and your automobile.

the airports and airplanes are private property, so it is none of the goverments business to have it secured.
