There is only one reality when it comes to generating huge amounts of material wealth...The reality is that their is always waste product...and the rich are like kids that do not clean up their room..They generate wealth and always leave a mess for others to clean up at their expense.

Global warming is a ruse - the problem is pollution...dirt - in the air on the land and in the water ...mostly deposited by those who create product and reap the material rewards...This is an attack against nature...IF you want to be rich and powerful, - please clean up when you are done - don't be like British Petroleum and spray dispersants on the mess and sinking it to the bottom of the gulf - sweeping things under the carpet is not exceptable - All this other stuff that we talk about regarding the environment is silly and will not cure the problems...Laws should be passed that anyone that makes a mess must clean up! Simple - Global warming as an issue would disappear if those non-reponsive twits who generate great wealth ...and great waste - rolled up their sleves and finished the job...CLEAN UP...

Environmentalism and global warming are a distraction from the real issues....The earth would heal if we just cleaned the garbage out of the wounds.

There have been several papers published that show problems with this approach to analysis, but then... a great deal of the analysis out there is simply models guessing about things the researchers have no real understanding of. /shrug
Even if you leave the tree rings out,the other proxies; ice cores, coral etc. still show a hockey stick, albeit much smaller.
I have looked and looked but I don't see the same misleading switch in reference materials when it comes to the other proxies.
Don't the other proxies kind of confirm unprecedented warming in the last 100 years?

Understand now? That's your class on debating 101 for today.
Pages 2-6.... You just keep moving the goal posts.

The graph in question doesn't appear until page 6.

....here's the funny part though. You actually need to understand statistics to understand what's happening. Again pages 2-7 debunk most your claims and accusations. What are your qualifications? Website literate? Come on. Watts may be such a great source.... but begs the question as to why he can't make it to academic papers. Oh right, academics are the enemy. Only non academic websites can hold the truth. Oh context is pretty important too, if you haven't figured out.

Warming... yes, unprecedented no. As for the "hockey stick", you only get this when you are manipulating the data. Remember, a hockey stick is a long flat handle with a sharp blade at the end. None of the records confirm such without being manipulated to show such.

Do you (or Says You?) have any sources or links to diagrams that show what sorta trend you get without tree ring data?

Or do am I suppose either of your word for it?
