Whether you like country music or not, with little to no exceptions, it has an exceptionally more positive moral message that rap and most other kinds of music.
Meh - the modern stuff (yes, I listen on occasion - commuting is a b*tch) doesn't hold a candle to the classics. Does anyone today sing with a bit of fire in their belly? We used to get lyrics like:

While Carrie Underwood is much easier on the yes than old Johnny, "Jesus, take the wheel" just doesn't carry the same - ooomph, somehow.
Sorry but I am not impressed by a "mansion" in hillbilly country.
Probably doesn't make any difference whether you are "impressed". Most likely you couldn't afford one of the "hillbilly" mansions,...or even one of the cheaper ones in Malibu, either.
I'm pretty certain 'ol Hank wouldn't lose any sleep over your lack of enthusiasm for his property. Neither would Tim McGraw, Vince Gill, LeAnn Rimes, K.T. Oslin, Clint Black, Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley, either of the Judds, or any of the other multitude of successful country artists who have homes/mansions in Tennessee.
One doesn't have to have "talent" to be successful. That's proven every day by those microphone-eating rappers who wear their hats backwards, have baggy pants, always wear sunshades, and gold teeth.
Not familiar with "tooties",...but apparently those who perform there don't sing country. And,...if they are so damn good, why are performing for free.?
Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, right below the Ryman, where generations of GOO stars slipped around the corner for a drink while waiting to go on. Across the street from Ernest Tubb's Record Shop. If you're not familiar with Tootsie's, you've never been to Nashville.
It's in the middle of the Nashville tourist district. Trust me, it's country music, and many times the Real Deal. BTW - a helluva lot of performers played on the street for tips before they made the Big Time. A lot of the musicians I've seen on the streets there are decidedly as good as what you got on the stage at the CMAs.

Nope,...never been to Nashville, but I have seen Ernest Tubbs and his band,....along with many other great classic country singers. Hard to beat Ray Price and the Cherokee Cowboys on a good dance floor.

Some people have no taste.....
You mean like all of the country singing trailer trash that you listed?
most of the stuff that passes for country music nowadays is garbage. Pop music with some country sprinkled in it.
Give me Johnny Cash or Patsy Cline any day over these new country pop stars.
