But you do pay heavy attention to your blogs when she does speak, don't you?

Have you not found out that Presidential candidates hand pick whoever they want to run with them? McCain picked Palin and Obama picked old Foot in Mouth Joe Biden and if you pay any attention to him you have to know that sometimes they have to muzzle him for talking the way he does.

Perhaps you're missing the obvious so I'll give you the Cliff Notes.
Palin was a gimmick. The Dems had a black guy so the GOP gambled they would appeal to women and undecideds if they had a chick and any one would do. It was a bad gamble. McCain had the election in his pocket till whoever pulls his strings thought up that farce. Every conservative I know realized that Obama would win because some crack smoking analyst decided to run Palin thus handing the election to the Dems.

As you've guessed, I am not particularly enthralled with any one party though I do have idiots I can tolerate more than others. Caine and Bachmann are also gimmicks and I just can't see the GOP making the same blunder again. Caine is a corporate spokesmodel and Bachman is a Neofascist theocrat. Neither could win an election against Obama or anyone else. Is it possible, the GOP could pull the same stupid human trick twice? Well it's possible we could be invaded and enslaved by aliens by week's end but I'm kind of doubting it.

I stopped paying attention to her after the '08 election. Time moves forward for some of us.

You have a short memory of history. Palin's slection as VP invigorated McCain's campaign. The economic collapse is what caused McCain to lose. He also ran a terrible campaign. Many voted for Obama for the wrong reason that it would improve race relations.
