Oh he's off hiding again. What a leader.

Now we got folks howling about how the world is going to end because mandatory 1.2 trillioin has to be cut...........over ten years. 120 billion a year. Run for the hills the world is gonna end, raise taxes, old people will die, children will starve!!!!

Wasn't any problem coming up with half a trillion for Obama's last job/spending program. Wonder why the big crisis is erupting now?

.

Obama is not supposed to be a leader.

Obama's job is to preside during the transition of the planet to new management.

Apparently you did not watch 60 minutes last night or you would have known that it was doomed to fail because of the "pledge" made by half of the committee (republicans) 18 years ago not to raise taxes in any way or form or risk losing your position. This is called the "Norquist pledge" and it only proves how entrenched that the republican party is in with the corperations and extremely wealthy citizens of this country....damn the rest of us

The Pledge: Grover Norquist's hold on the GOP - …

So if you want to keep blaming the president over the economy in this country fine, but at least you know the facts why it is not true.

Please explain to me how a pledge made 18 years ago makes any sense now, under a totally different economic probelm

Failure of the supercommittee is good. Come 2013, the Bush tax-cuts will expire instead of what the GOP members insisting on -- making the Bush tax cuts permanent.

I ask again where is the great leader???

As for raising taxes one doesn't have to raise taxes to reduce the deficit. Are you that blind? REDUCE SPENDING!!

I like the fact that you would like Obama to solve the problem via executive order. However................

Face it, if Obama came up with ideas of his own, the right would be calling him a dictator.

If six people can't agree, how would you expect the entire congress to pass a budget?

Only a fool would fail to do BOTH.

Also, predictably, you're blaming Obama.
