CLASS.
Quote:
The Obama administration cut a major planned benefit from the 2010 health-care law on Friday, announcing that a program to offer Americans insurance for long-term care was simply unworkable.
Although the program had been dogged from the start by doubts about its feasibility, its elimination marks the first time the administration has backed away from a key piece of President Obama’s signature legislative achievement.
White House kills insurance program for long-term care - The Washington Post

It's the first of many.

You don't have anything substantial. CBO said class was workable. Now, not so much.

When Obamacare is actually implemented, you'll find its conditions much more dire.

CBO analysis are given what the provider provides. If the presumptions of the provider are false then you get skewed results.

Prepare for even more "finding out what's in the bill" fallacies as time goes on. It's not even gone into effect yet.

2014 is the date if it doesn't get thrown out on illegalities.

Obama also sued one of our own states. Arizona. Who does that, because they were following the federal law? Obama, the Great Divider.
He and michelle just spend and spend on their trips. It isn't just he and michelle, he took 100 of his friends to Asia. That cost us 2 Billion dollars. Michells trip to spain? Oh, I love this. Other country's see thru Obama and they don't have confidence in us either! You think these people will want to do business with the USA?

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting an inexperienced man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Exactly. There are so many no-nothing pissants in the US and on this forum who speak from a position of ignorance, but act like they know what is and what isn't. They hate success and achievement, mostly because they know inside they are incapable of either, that all they can talk about is taxing their betters into poverty. Just because some stupid, failed idea is new to them, they think it is a new great idea from their great, deep well of clear clean wisdom, when all it is is recycled puke from the bowels of morons.

I am ashamed to even consider that they are "my fellow Americans". The one you cited is just one of many.

I have, repeatedly. You can't seem to understand it, but nobody, including you, is surprised at the non-absorption.

And BTW, In addition to my formal Business education, concluded in 1978, I have decades of real-world experience in many different fields including manufacturing, construction, service industry, hospitality industry, military, IT and others.

Well, I don't agree with you and Obama COPIED Mitt's health care for his state, but Mitt says, it won't work. He is the only one with NO DIRT in his background, is that what you mean 'spineless"? He isn't. He has been governor, runs a business and also went to Harvard. Most people don't understand a wholesome life style.

I think Kathypur on here, wrote this, didn't copy her name.

"You really haven't been watching then. Mitt Romney is one of the most intelligent, if not the most intelligent people running. He has a doctorate in law and business from Harvard and graduated in the top 5% of his class. Unintelligent people don't do that.

I would say that Mitt Romney is definitely a conservative on most issues. He governed Massachusetts as a fiscal conservative. When he took office they had about a $3 Billion dollar deficit and within three years, by making budget cuts they had a surplus in their budget. Socially , he also is conservative on most issues...prolife, wants stricter immigration laws and control, supports traditional marriage of one man/one woman, does not support legalizing same-sex marriage, opposes legalizing marijuana, supports the death penalty (Massachusetts doesn't have the death penalty) supports school choice and vouchers...I am not sure how much more conservative you can be, really."

How quickly the right wing ingrates forget. Even the right had had enough of the Bush Administration and "anybody but Bush" was heard from both Liberal and Conservative mouths. Who could argue... 600,000 jobs going away every month... 20 million jobs gone and counting... two wars and over 5,000 in casualties and tens of thousands more alive but as good as dead. It wasn't sustainable. Are things better under Obama? Do you really have to ask? Of course they are. In spite of the fact that trillions have been pulled out of the economy by spiteful Americans determined to see Obama fail. He hasn't, so they say he has anyway. That kind of smear works on some. It got some Republican seats in Congress in 2010. America had the world by the tail. Stupid White Men put the single greatest country in the world on social, economic and political life support. A Black Man gave the U.S. CPR and the country was on the road back. America is far from out of danger, but the Stupid White Men have said, "thanks, dog, we'll take it from here". Good luck with that. Obama is just one man. The Occupy Movement is what will determine America's real future. If it fails, America is done.

H

Just a couple of the things Obama has done for you that no one else would:
1. Kept legitimate credit institutions from maneuvering average clients into financial crisis via egregious fee schedules, shifting statement closing dates, punitive interest rate hikes, etc.

2. Repealed the ban on stem cell research.

3. Resisted the uncontrolled exploitation of sensitive wetlands, pristine wildernesses and other natural resources.

4. Began a debate in the court of public opinion re: taxing the wealthy (the supercommittee failed to identify even 1 Trillion in spending cuts (a bi-partisan committee mind you) yet 2.65 Trillion in tax cuts continue to be argued about.

Listen, and listen well. If you don't like Obama you are stupid. There really isn't any other word for it. Stupid! Obama has given more to the right than any Democrat should. Run him out on a rail like Carter, if you must. What else is new. It was stupid to do it then, its stupid now but stupid is what America does best. All the really smart Americans are from somewhere else. English speaking WASP's are collectively the single, most destructive force on this planet and will ultimately destroy it. The whales, dolphins and other sentient races of humanity will also suffer extinction due to the excesses of a single sub-type of human. Very sad. Very sad indeed.

Yeah, according to Lahaina,

Good citizens would all be small businessmen with a penchant for self-aggrandizement and hot air. Firemen, policemen, teachers, scholars, scientists, lawyers, artists, and the like are all parasitic **** ants know nothings. Hey, no worries, those self-employed MBAs will tell us all about the ozone layer and the next incoming comet.

]Lahaina Lopaka, .
Don't tell these people anymore about your business. You don't need to do that, they are bilking you for information for themselves.

The more information you give them, the more they come back to 'attack' what you say. Don't give them anymore information. They have the 'liberal gene'.
Most intelligent people, understand your posts.

[]"Obama told a news conference Wednesday he was going where no president had gone before in attacking burdensome federal regulations.
]In reality, many presidents have been there and done that. Bill Clinton, for one, ordered a sweeping review of the thicket of rules and his vice president took a hammer to the ashtray on TV to underscore one dumb regulation.[/SI
[Regulations, corporate jet owners, hedge fund managers and Moammar Gadhafi formed a sort of rogue's gallery in Obama's remarks as the president talked about debt negotiations with Republicans, the NATO campaign in Libya, the war in Afghanistan and more. But the tale behind each rogue is more complex than was told.[/.
[]A look at some of his statements and how they compare with the facts
.
[OBAMA: "What I have done — and this is unprecedented, by the way, no administration's done this before — is I've said to each agency, don't just look at current regulations or don't just look at future regulations, regulations that we're proposing, let's go backwards and look at regulations that are already on the books, and if they don't make sense, let's get rid of them. And we are in the process of doing that, and we've already identified changes that could potentially save billions of dollars for companies over the next several years."[/
].
]THE FACTS: Plenty of other presidents have gone on the hunt for needless federal regulations.[/]
[Clinton gave the job of "reinventing government" to his vice president, Gore, who wielded the hammer on David Letterman's "Late Show" in 1993 to demonstrate silly federal rules on ashtray safety. Clinton signed an executive order directing agencies to eliminate half of all internal regulations, and a companion order taking aim at regulations that affect people outside of government.
]The Government Accountability Office reported in 2007: "Every president since President Carter has directed agencies to evaluate or reconsider existing regulations. For example, President Carter's Executive Order 12044 required agencies to periodically review existing rules; one charge of President Reagan's task force on regulatory relief was to recommend changes to existing regulations; President George H.W. Bush instructed agencies to identify existing regulations to eliminate unnecessary regulatory burden; and President Clinton, under section 5 of Executive Order 12866, required agencies to develop a program to 'periodically review' existing significant regulations. In 2001, 2002, and 2004, the administration of President George W. Bush asked the public to suggest reforms of existing regulations."
.
OBAMA: "I've said to some of the Republican leaders, 'You go talk to your constituents — the Republican constituents — and ask them, are they willing to compromise their kids' safety so that some corporate jet owner continues to get a tax break?' And I'm pretty sure what the answer would be."[/

THE FACTS: Obama mentioned the tax break on corporate jets six times, enough so a viewer might think eliminating it would be offer significant savings to the government.[/
[The benefit, which relates to how corporations write off the value of private jets, is worth just about $3 billion over 10 years, according to Republican congressional aides. The White House doesn't dispute the figure. That pales next to the $400 billion or so in additional tax revenue Democrats have proposed in budget negotiations, and it's negligible compared with the $2 trillion-plus Republicans want to cut to match a two-year increase in the debt ceiling. There is also no direct relationship between preserving that tax break and cutting spending in any particular budget area, despite Obama's suggestion that federal programs for child safety would be at risk.
]Instead, Obama seemed intent on highlighting an area of spending that the public might view as particularly egregious in a faltering economy, although he didn't suggest it would solve the entire problem. Other tax breaks he mentioned getting rid of Wednesday were for "millionaires and billionaires," oil companies and hedge fund managers
.
.OBAMA: "Moammar Gadhafi, who prior to Osama bin Laden was responsible for more American deaths than just about anybody on the planet, was threatening to massacre his people."[/
.
THE FACTS: Gadhafi's history of supporting terrorist acts lethal to Americans did not stop the Obama administration, like the Bush administration before it, from cultivating a relationship with him after he renounced terrorism. Gadhafi's government shared information on its nuclear program, tipped Washington about Islamic militants after the 2001 terrorist attacks and persuaded Western nations to lift sanctions.[]Indeed, the Obama administration treated him with kid gloves in March 2010 after then-spokesman P.J. Crowley at the State Department joked about Gadhafi's call for a holy war against Switzerland. The spokesman apologized for making comments that were "perceived as a personal attack" against the Libyan leader and expressed regret that the remarks became "an obstacle to further progress in our bilateral relationship."[/crackdown on opponents of the Libyan government and the subsequent air campaign by U.S. and NATO forces.[/
]Obama no doubt was referring to U.S. deaths from terrorist acts, not from foes in wartime, when he likened Gadhafi to bin Laden. The 1988 bombing of Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, an act tied to Libya, killed 270 people, 189 of them American. Two Americans died in a Berlin disco bombing that wounded hundreds in 1986, and seven Americans were among the 170 dead when UTA Flight 772 crashed in the Niger desert in 1989 after a suitcase bomb exploded. Those attacks also were traced to *Libya.[
.
*note same place Obama helped without congress approval=autumn comment.
.
Associated Press writers Nancy Benac, Erica Werner and Matthew Lee contributed to this report.
