Gay people are extremely pro-family. It is the heteros who make babies, then decide they don't want to be married, get divorced that are anti-family. It is estimated at least 37% of all babies born are unplanned. Imagine all these babies who often times, are born in a single parent house, which the tax payer must subsidize. Too often babies born don't have two loving parents who devote their lives to raising their kids responsibly, or have the incomes to properly support them. This is not good "family values."
I knew a gay male couple who adopted children. Their first son was born addicted to crack and was HIV positive. They took him in as a foster child and sat up nights while he screamed from withdrawal. These people fought to adopt him jointly when it was against the law and got the law changed. The kid is now in his late teens. He has some learning difficulties, too.

These parents adopted a baby girl after that, also born to a crack mom, and then they adopted the girl's older sister.

If not for them, these kids would have grown up in foster care instead of a nice house with a parent who stays home and takes care of them. How many of the "family values" set would have so easily taken in children born to addicts and raised them?

Why would you question that a straight couple would not have done the same?

The comments are in regards to CFA wanting their flavour of religion to be a consideration in the legal world.

They're free to their religion.

They're not free to demand/expect that the government will bend to creating/sustaining laws based upon said religion.

There's a difference.

Homosexuals are not discriminating against CFA for their religious beliefs; they are "discriminating" against CFA for providing money to discriminatory organizations that use their religion as fuel for legal affairs.

Nobody is saying that a straight couple wouldn't do the same. Only that this gay couple did.

So a Muslim family owned business that donates to Muslim political and legal causes would be boycotted too?

They certainly have a much harsher stance on homosexuality than Christians.

But somehow, I'd bet that gays wouldn't dare do that.

If they actively gave money to anti-gay groups, yes.

Again: It's not about religion. It's all about the anti-gay stance.

Being active in an anti-gay marriage stance=discrimination against homosexuals.

It's not about religion, only idiots believe that the boycott is over religion.
