The 14th amendment says that no citizens rights or privileges can be abridged.

Do you not like the constitution?

This is true. Of course, I think there is only one Chick Fil A in NYC

And, backtracking Emanuel states: Or should I say "Chicken Little"

"their values are not Chicago values." But that doesn't mean he would block them.

"If they meet all the requirements, they're welcome to open a restaurant here."

And don't start with the whole "you can marry someone of the opposite sex" thing. It didn't work for interracial marriage foes, and it won't work for you.

Did you REALLY just ask that?

It's whatever purpose people want it to be. You don't need marriage for procreation. You don't need marriage to form a family.

Some might marry for tax purposes. Some might marry to form a family. Some might marry to get accepted into society. Some might marry for money. Some might marry for sex. And we know many marry for love. That's fine with me.

I might want to marry my golf clubs because I spend more time with them than any person or thing.

You can marry anyone you want, why do you need the government to approve it? Why would you want to marry? Love? benefits? Personally i married for love, I never once thought about any benefit and after 34 years I still don't know what these benefits are I have.
