I've been known to frequent men's bathrooms when the line to the women's is ridiculously long.
Yeah, and I'm sure that you were at some loud crowded bar or at some sporting event. Imagine being at a quiet highway rest stop bathroom on a stormy night and some dude in a dress walks in. I'm thinking you would change your tune.

BTW, girls who use men's bathrooms at bars are considered by the men who see them as loose. Just thought you should be aware of this.

When my daughter was 12 or so and we were at a mall (without my wife) and she needed to use the restroom, I would not want some confused man who thought he was a woman in the restroom with her.
Many men/women find themselves in this exact situation every day. They do not want their young children placed in danger because a man thinks he's a woman and wants to use the ladies room.
Yes.....I think that ALL people with mental issues are a danger.

So you are a danger? Your preoccupation about people who are different than yourself is cause for concern.
When I was a 12 year old girl, my mother would have been much more likely (and right) to keep me away from people like you than transgendered people. Luckily my own children will have a transgendered aunt (unrelated, but close family friend) and you can be assured that they will not grow up as resentful as you might find your children would be. I cannot imagine having a person I respect share your views.
If you're that fearful of someone using the women's room, knowing that pre-surgery one must become the new gender, perhaps it's not their problem.
For all you know, transgendered persons have already been using women's rooms, perhaps even when you were there.
Is that going to stop you from using women's rooms completely?
What the hell does her not being aware of a transgendered person using the same bathroom have to do with her not wanting it done? I'm fairly certain that felonious criminals have walked within inches of me before. Does that mean I should just get over criminality?

It's a sick world.
There's a huge difference between a transsexual and a dude in a dress (transvestism). A M-F transsexual that starts living their life "as the other sex" prior to their operation is typically going to have already started transitioning. Some are already going to have breast implants, longer hair like a woman, and be taking hormones.
Compare to a dude with a goatee and an ill fitting wig going and throwing on a dress so he can pretend to be a tranny and creep out women in the public restroom. What are the realistic chances?

I agree that people have a "right" to parade around dressed as the opposite sex, but I have the right to speak out against some freaks desire to use the restroom of the opposite sex.
It is up to clear thinking, normal society to stop the insane from taking over.

If it is not some sort of mental illness, why do they need the assistance of Psychologists and other mental health professionals when they go through the change?
