Now I was at first surprised that 96% voted yes, but by looking at the responses, this isn't a question regarding only racial or ethnic minority status.
Yes. I'm 1) blind 2) gay 3) believe in a lot of New Age stuff 4) left-handed. Don't usually count #3 and #4 but I did since other posters mentioned it.
I work for a living and pay income tax. These days that makes me a minority. And I sure as h*ll have been discriminated against. The government is willing to spend all kinds of money on those that don't work or pay no taxes...working people, not so much.
I'm all that, plus I believe in American Exceptionalism and the power of a free people making their own decisions. Soon I hope to be in the hated 2%.
I'm sorry, I thought it was a serious question. If I'm any kind of minority, I can't think of it.
I meant it to be a serious question. While I think some people stretched what most would consider to be the definition of a "minority", I also think that most of us really are in some sort of a minority group.
