It's just an NRA scam. That's how they get their money by scaring elderly white males into thinking minorities are about to steal their guns.

Same racket as TV evangelists preying on lonely Grandmothers.

Purchase of firearms does not automatically indicate fear. I am so tired of people making that false assumption.

Quality firearms not only hold their value but increase in value over time. I've never lost money on a firearm purchase/investment. Same goes for ammunition.

That shows how far the US dollar has been devalued over the past 10 years.

Run on Guns and Ammo?

What the hell is happening to conservative America? In the nuclear age, folks want act like Yosemite Sam. In fact if Yosemite Sam was running in this election he would probably be ahead of Gingrich!

It may be a personal plan for expected warfare, but it's not a financial investment.

If Obama is re-elected in 2012, which is still just over 50% likely according to intrade, here will be another gun-run shortly thereafter. After all , according to Newsweek, shortly after the 2008 election anti-gun Rep. Carolyn McCarthy approached the Obama transition about her gun control proposal. "That's not for now, that's for later," she was told. If Obama is re-elected, gun owners are going to brace.
