I didn't see the speech, but I support President Obama in his initiatives, and cannot see how any thinking person with a modicum of education, history, and awareness of world issues could NOT support him. Of course he isn't perfect, but he is miles ahead of the GOON squad that has been lobbing insults in his path the entire term.

I agree Obama's speech was very good and hopefully will wake up the politicians that need to be woken up.
Although, I couldn't help chuckling everytime he said "No More Bailouts!!!". LOL, I should hope not, the $16 Trillion in bailouts issued by The Fed should be good for a few decades.

oh really?

these are the people i don't understand at all. the people who complain about george bush (and rightly so) and then defend obama when he DOES THE SAME THINGS.

more wars.
more restrictions of our rights.
more government control.
more spending.
more waste.
more fraud. (blackwater becomes xe, for example)
more unemployment.
more social programs-and of course more NEED for social programs, because we have an economy NOT in recovery.

and the new stuff of course, NDAA, which is uglier than i could have imagined in its cost and treatment of american citizens.

wake up, fellow americans. by the way, the obama speech was the same old-same old for the past 3 years running. watch here

Oh, please!

So, you support the destruction he has wrought on the economy and America?

The man is America's worst nightmare. He has done everything to destroy it, and it's been purposeful. This is what he meant when he said he would "fundamentally transform the United States of America".

He is a Marxist/socialist. And an ass hole to boot!

We're in good hands with this intelligent man at the helm. The Republican narrative stinks and is misguided. The Republican candidates stink and their attempt to unseat this great man is just a mere formality.

Looking forward to this President's second term and enough votes to kick those lousy, backwards, and worthless Republicans/tea partiers OUT of Congress. If we're lucky, the President can replace some of those imbecile GOP-supporting Justices from the Supreme Court too.

President Obama's ideas and plans take this country into a better future. The idiotic Republicans merely want to erase the 20th century.

Enjoy President Obama's second term. Excellent speech!

It was a good political speech and it increases the likelihood of his being re-elected come November.

We didn't have the stomach to watch it, but from what I have read about it this morning, it was much of the same bull crap that we got in last years speach.

The man is such a bloomin' failure there isn't a lot he can say.

His phony claim to job creation is based on the faulty belief that every dollar spent by government creates a corresponding number of jobs. It's all hocus-pocus, and not based on any real evidence of jobs having been created.

He spoke of reducing our dependence on foreign oil (he always does) while doing everything to ensure that we remain dependent. No XL Pipeline, no offshore drilling, or any other drilling or exploration. He does not act with America's interests in mind.

He doles out money to failed companies, and then asks that they pay us back??? How does that work?

The speach gets an F- and so does Obama.

Hahahahahaha. "Gifted speaker"! Not!

I'm assuming this is tongue-in-cheek.
