Guys we gotta forget all first-hand eye-witness accounts. They all lie.

Two of my brothers were there, mass hysteria, I tell you. They hate Hanoi Jane for what they saw her do. But all of VN was a figment of their imaginations.

'Hanoi Jane' is all a lie.

All those men [many posting here on this forum] are all lying.

The internet knows better.

Snopes knows what really happened.

Just accept it.

Hanoi Jane went to Nam and posed for propoganda photos.

The POW stuff is bogus.

The presidential award is bogus.

But carry on with hate fantasies if it makes you feel better. The fact that some dishonest wingnut has now tried to lie Obama into the picture just kinda amps up the hatred, doesn't it?

No she did not.

It is all like Al Gore. He traveled back in time four decades, so he could 'create' the internet. Ask him, he will swear to it. Before the man was born, he was there to set it all into motion.

The internet knows better than any amount of men who were boots-on-the-ground.

It is common knowledge today that Hanoi Jane never happened. Ask any highschool student.

Hanoi Jane gave aid and comfort to the enemy in time of war.

Some forget treason easily. And some don't.

Oh well, keep hyping yourself up on bad Vietnam movies and a foolish belief that she's the reason that we lost. Hell, she wasn't even part of the reason, but i guess you guys can't deal with that.

Meanwhile, she'll keep living the life at peace with her actions..... a wealthy former movie star while you're getting angry over nothing.

Life is too short. Guess you'll realize that when it's too late.
Her actions most definitely hurt her career and her private life. The relationship between her and her father never really recovered from it.

However, she apologized for her actions so IMO, we should forgive her.

Using your logic every criminal who apologizes after committing a crime should be forgiven and not put in jail.

She was a a traitor to her country and an insult to her father.

The only way she could atone for her actions would be for her to hang herself in public with a sign around her neck saying "I'm sorry"

Actually it was General Westmoreland. It was claimed that he manipulated reports and withheld information from Washington. When he took command (1964) there were 16,000 US troops in Vietnam, four years later when he left (or was removed??) there were 535,000 troops.
