Zimmerman was not protecting his home, so the Castle Doctrine doesn't apply. Both co-sponsors of the SYG bill have stated that Zimmerman did not act in compliance with their bill. You do not have the right to stalk someone and attempt to intimidate them when you've no evidence that
they have committed a crime or are in the process of doing so. Go outside and walk around the block once...imagine that a total stranger is tailing you. How safe will you feel? Imagine that he then demands that you justify your presence there. Are you still feeling safe? Imagine then that you just want to go home, but he grabs your arm. Now you don't feel very safe at all, do you? How would you respond? Finally, imagine that you're only 17. Then you might be terrified, huh? And justifiably in fear for your life.
BECAUSE RACE MATTERS! Jesus wake up that is the country in which you live. Race has ALWAYS mattered in America. Why don't you think this guy who is obviously a minority isn't getting the justice he deserves? Blacks don't even have a chance. Not only did they have to deal with white racism and civil right issues now they are seeing a huge demographic from down south destroy what chance they had at really achieving prosperity and equal treatment under the law. Our government cares more about the latinos than any other segment of the population.
So when the "minorities" i.e. brow skinned people who are going to basically elect our next President commmit violence against even more hated minority i.e a black kid it's going to be worse than white on black crime as far as being reported in the media, and reliably investigated and prosecuted. There are HUGE race issues in FL right now. blacks, haitians, mexicans, whites. FL is a cesspool of multiculturalism special interest. FL is a microcosm of what the rest of the country will look like in a few decades.

If the Sunshine State is perceived as a place where anyone get get shot over nothing and there is no deterrent, no follow-up, no charge no nothing, this could hurt the state longterm. I think Florida's politicians understand that and are going to try to contain the damage.
Provide pictures of what Treyvon looked like when he got murdered by Zimmerman
There's nothing worse than some jumped-up poster coming into the middle of a long and complex thread and not reading through it before trying to take the whole thread back to square one. The least such a poster could do is a little leg work and provide us with Trayvon's most recent photo. I'll be curious to see how different it might be from the sweet-faced young man that we've been seeing for three weeks now.
