Just to add fuel to the fire:

Trayvon Martin Case: George Zimmerman Was 'Jekyll And Hyde,' Former Co-Worker Says

Some of Zimmerman’s neighbors said he had a history of being overly aggressive and followed people whom he thought appeared suspicious back to their homes.

At an emergency homeowner’s association meeting on March 1, days after the killing, “one man was escorted out because he openly expressed his frustration because he had previously contacted the Sanford Police Department about Zimmerman approaching him and even coming to his home,” a resident who spoke on the condition of anonymity told HuffPost. “It was also made known that there had been several complaints about George Zimmerman and his tactics" in his neighborhood watch role.

He's also at the disadvantage of not being able to tell his side of the story.

The crime would not be tried in the public arena if the real investigation would move along. As of now there is enough probability to issue an arrest according to attorneys and law enforcement individuals that I have heard speaking about the case. A proper and thorough investigation is all anyone, which includes the parents of the victim, civil rights activists, the public, etc., is calling for.
It may seem irrelevant to you but most people can see that a six ft tall 160 LB 17 year old might be viewed as more of a threat than a 12 year old doe eyed child. If you can't see the difference I would say that you may not be being objective.

Really?

There are conflicting reports from all sources which don't prove one side or the other. Therefore, that is the need for a thorough investigation, not a one sided police report.
What on earth are you talking about? The police report isn't just a statement of what Zimmerman told police, it's a report about what the police observed on the scene. That's why cops write "officer observed..." and write out a description. The observations of the officers support Zimmerman's story. I guess that's why people came up with the conspiracy route. Apparently the officers and the DA met with Zimmerman's dad in a bunker in Virginia to discuss how to get his son off. But they had to talk loudly because it was difficulty to hear each other over the loud humming noise coming from the adjacent bunker that houses the government's weather-controlling machine.

There is a wonderful Christian woman of God whom I have been Blessed to talk too, every now and then. I spoke with her tonight...and I asked her about this case. She calmly stated ...''Zimmerman is Gulity as SIN.''

After seeing the CBS NEWS tape of police bringing Zimmerman to the station, after the killing, with NO broken nose, etc., I BELIEVE MY Christion friend, who I know is very wise, and close to God.

civil disobedience, refusal to obey a law or follow a policy believed to be unjust.

I don't think you understand what "Civil Disobedience" actually means.

Never read the book of the same name by Thoreau...I'm guessing.

The Zimmerman defenders have nothing but a police report. They keep talking about witnesses saying that Trayvon was the aggressor when there is no documentation of this, other than some Fox News interview. There is a witness that says they were on the grass - not the concrete, this is a contradiction to Zimmerman's story about having his head banged on the concrete.

The Zimmerman defenders have gotten several things incorrect. The surveillance video WAS taken approximately 30 minutes after the shooting, Trayvon Martin was on the phone with his girlfriend minutes before the shooting (the phone logs prove this despite Robert Zimmerman saying that he didn't believe it) and neither of Trayvon's parents ever said that was not his voice on the 911 recording. In fact, his mother was with the mayor the first time she heard it and ran out of the room crying because in her mind, there was no doubt that that was her son. Apparently the mayor seemed to believe her.

Martin's mother weeps
Triplett played the calls on his office computer. Someone was heard crying for help. Martin's mother wept and ran from the room, convinced it was her son, Jackson said. Everyone was moved to tears.
"It was very emotional," Triplett recalled. "Obviously when you hear something like that, there couldn't be anything worse for a family member or a parent ... and to hear your own son, what transpired at the last second

George Zimmerman's father, brother and lawyer have been tweaking this story on a daily basis. After his brother spoke, his lawyer said that he hasn't spoken with his brother in years....there are too many unanswered questions. As much as the Zimmerman supporters would like us to believe that this whole thing was cut and dry, it isn't and of course parent's who love their child aren't going to accept this and let it just go away.

Trayvon Martin was not stalking Zimmerman. It was the other way around. As the days progress more and more people are coming forward to reveal Zimmerman's history of violence, quick temper and erratic behavior. It was an issue and relevant as to how this might have played out. If you choose to negate it, that's your choice. His character and history are more relevant...IMO...than the expression in the eyes of the kid that his heart stopped by Zimmerman's gun.

It's heartbreaking that Trayvon's mom had to hear that. What mother would not want to get the truth out in the name of her son, that cannot speak for himself.

Can't believe people have not been suspicious ...and questioned WHY the Sanford police have been soooooooo protective of Zimmerman? Was he 'their' guy?
